Okay! So, I've actually been meaning to post this for the last couple of days. But...the last couple of days have been be rocking back and forth in a corner between sets of screenshots, asking myself why I was doing this to myself -_-. Specifically, one of the Big additions for Build 5 is going to be a small escape game of sorts, that makes up the primary way to gain Rogue/Thief skill points at the Thieves Guild (you could also pay for training, but that's just boring, right?!). Unfortunately, while I think the idea is a good one, it's also proving to be something of a nightmare in implementation. There are two sets planned (and easy and hard option), and for each set I have to have a complete set of ALL POSSIBLE COMBINATIONS, since you'll be able to choose which piece of gear to try and remove first. In other words, if you were to, let's say, lockpick off a gag, then struggle out of a collar, and only THEN seek out help from a guild members for an item you couldn't remove alone...then the images of the 'payment' would have to match already having those other items removed. Whereas, there also has to be images for if you only removed the gag, or only the collar...and so on. Since each set is made up of 4 items, it's a lot of combinations! And that despite making sure that only those that make logical sense can be attempted...

So, anywayyyy....I've been busy with that, as well as some related technical issues (the pet suit needed animations and getting them to work was way more time consuming than expected), and so I'm going getting to this now. And even now, it's mostly because my brain is melting from staring at at the combination data and I need a break! That said, the escape game obviously isn't going to be the only piece in the new build....

As you can see, I have this separated out into orders of priority. Given both the late start this month, which was only very mildly Haven's Port's fault (most of the late start was due to taking 2 days to get both games hosted online!) and the sheer annoying complexity of the mini-game feature, I can't be certain how much of this will make it into the build. I'm 99% certain, barring something going badly wrong, that all of the Priority One stuff will make it in. I'm fairly certain that at least one or two bits of the Priority Two content will make it in. I'm hoping that all Priory 1 & 2 will make it in. I kinda doubt that anything in the priority 3 list will make it, but if it does, yay!
