Progress Report (Patreon)

Alright! Last progress report before the update. First, I'm afraid I didn't quite manage to get a short story done. I did get one partially done and might release it as an extra next month. But, with the late start to the month and everything else that happened, I just wasn't quite able to squeeze it in. I warned everyone that might be the case pretty early on this month, so hopefully it's not too much of a downer.

Left Hand Magic! This is much better news. Programming is 99% done as of early this morning, which means today I'm moving onto the writing phase. I'm expecting the writing/editing to take today and tomorrow to do. That will leave me needing to do testing/gallery/upload on the 31st. Which is a tiny bit of a crunch. It's possible I won't quite make the exact deadline of 'Midnight on the 31st' and the release will instead be early morning on the 1st. But, unless something goes badly wrong, that's the worst delay I'm expecting. Which should honestly get us back on track next month, with the alterations to the rewards I've spoken about previously helping to keep things on track.

For those of you that didn't pay attention when I went over those before, those alterations are:

• No More Monthly wallpapers (this has already been removed from the $20 Tier reward list)

• Only one short story (determined by poll) per month.

So, nothing huge. But enough to free up the a 2-3 days of time for me every month, in order to reduce the load enough I can hopefully keep up. An overdue adjustment to the reality that Left Hand Magic is simply more time-intensive than Haven's Port was.
