Hey thanks for your patience this week everyone! Here we have Shantae, from the game series of the same name.  I played the most recent game, 1/2 Genie Hero, just last week and got inspired to draw her.  The game was fun but a tad overpriced, 20 bucks and about 5 hours long.  Probably best if you can catch it on sale. 

The biggest thing that stands out to me about the series is the style it presents, especially in the latest entry. The female characters, as in ALL the female characters, are rocking these bouncy, perky little breasts with exposed midriffs. But their faces look like something you'd see in a Nickelodeon cartoon aimed at kids, so it presents and unusal design contrast I can't remember seeing anywhere else off hand.  Anyhow overall the series is fun and has a unique sense of humor going for it. I'd recommend picking up some of the earlier titles if you're into retro style action games.
