This one's a bit self indulgent I'll admit. I played through Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity late last year, so here comes a pic of my favorite girl blowing my favorite guy. Fans will note I took some liberties with the anatomy of the characters. Mipha doesn't normally have nipples or a nose, but she looked too weird without a nose in my style so I gave her a little one. (Added nipples for obvious reasons.) And Revali, a big purple bird man in the game, gets a normal human dong because when I colored it purple like the rest of him it looked more like she was sucking a popsicle than the real deal.
As for the game, I loved it. Sank a shameful amount of hours into it over the holidays. If not for Hades I'd easily have called it my personal game of the year for 2020. It was a love letter to Breath of the Wild in all the best ways....also some of the worst ways though. There are maybe three graphical assets in Age of Calamity that were not yoinked directly from Breath of the Wild. Also yoinked were Breath of the Wild's long load times and shitty frame rate, which was a bold move on the developer's part, I think, but I respect their dedication to making this new game feel like the original down to the last detail.
A side note that I think is funny: When the most recent Smash Bros game came out, Princess Zelda was not presented in her Breath of the Wild incarnation, instead they went with the 90's Zelda from a Link to the Past/Between Worlds. The reason given by Smash's director was that BotW Zelda was a scientist, not a fighter, so she wasn't a good fit for a fighting game. I found that statement strange at the time, because 90's Zelda wasn't exactly known for her stone-cold ass kickings either. But it's even stranger after playing Age of Calamity, where scientist Zelda is a one woman murder machine capable of decimating whole armies single-handedly. XD
That's all I've got for now, if you've played the game or have any thoughts on the series overall I'd love to hear them in the comments. And I hope you like my first pin up of 2021!
