This Romantic World Page 142 (Patreon)

I knew when I wrote this scene that it would have been a bit implausible for Abbey to get dressed fast enough to interrupt this exchange no matter how frantic she was about it. Counterpoint though: I really wanted to draw her in her underwear on the previous page. No regrets.

Though I may regret putting Casey's hair in a ponytail for this scene. I'm not as enthused as Abbey, as I feel like she doesn't quite look like herself. That's what I get for committing to it with a panel that didn't even show her face last week I suppose. Who knows, it may grow on me. On a final note, about that attached image: It's the painting on Abbey's wall behind her in panel three. I went to the trouble of whipping it up only to find there simply wasn't room for it in the shot. So I included it above in all its suicidal glory. 

Anyhow I hope you guys like the page, even if it is a bit of a transitional one. I'm really excited to get into this scene. :)
