I think I've established that Casey has matured and softened since the events of Switch, but I tried not to lose her old self entirely in the process. This was not only because I wanted to preserve some of what I first wrote her as (that being a selfish manipulative pervert) but also because I think it could make for some interesting obstacles in Casey and Royce's relationship. I never originally imagined her as being anyone's steady girlfriend, and I feel like Casey and Royce trying to hammer that round peg into a square hole should be fun to write.
