Here's my latest job, trying out more saturated colors again, seems to be working ok.

Very well done and she wears the paint job well 😉😉

Lol paint job! I like it, I'm going to start saying that from now on. :)

You're sure you didn't just color in a canon image? Somehow, this seems a bit -to- true to character. :P Looks damn good.

Hey if you think it looks authentic that's a relief. I've never watched Bleach, not entirely for lack of interest, just generally don't go for shows that last more than say, 50 episodes tops. And whenever I get hired to draw someone I've never heard of there's always a danger I'll slip up and present her in a way that's out of character.

Alright, a bleach commission. This one is looking pretty good, and its the Rangiku before the time skip (stopped watching after that). I'm probably the same with watching animes that go over a certain amount of episodes, unless I either really like it or I started watching before it go to that point.

Sure, and it's not like a 200+ episode anime can't be good, it just negates one of the things I like most about anime: they are largely open and closed story arcs that end when they're finished and often leave you wanting more. Compare that to the average American tv series, stories that get stretched and dragged for years beyond what would have been a perfectly satisfying story conclusion, so long as money is still being made.It seems like they only end one of two ways: either they are unceremoniously cancelled and we get a rushed ending (if any.) Or the show goes on and on until even the stars are bored with it, often dropping off to pursue other career opportunities before the whole thing just lumbers to a close long after everyone stopped caring. (I bet anything this happens with "Big Bang Theory." Just sayin.')
