Tron Bonne here is a fairly obscure character from a series of games released in the late 90s called Mega Man Legends. (Though she didn't look much like my adult version here in the original.) She may not be well known today but she sure had a lot of impact in my writing style back when the only comics I made were in beat up spiral bound tablets of drawing paper.

In the game Tron is a pirate/mad scientist who develops feelings for our hero after he "saves" her from being harassed by a small harmless puppy. Her creepy little crush on him escalates the games go on. One thing that cracked me up was after Tron suffers an especially embarrassing defeat by Mega Man, you can talk to her robotic minions and they'll let you know that their evil mistress has been depressed and won't come out of her room lately. I love little details like that.

Anyhow long story short I liked the concept and wished they'd done more with it. For years every comic I wrote had some kind of Tron rip-off character in there somewhere. In retrospect I'm amazed I've been in this business as long as I have without drawing her sooner.
