As a huge Ninja Gaiden fan, this commission was a treat for me. I loved the original games on the NES, (except for part 3) and the relatively recent games on more modern systems (except for part 3, Tecmo just can't cap off a trilogy right it seems.) 

In any case one of the things I loved about the new games were the wildly over the top character designs, especially on the ladies. In the game, Rachel here is a demon hunter tasked with a tragic quest to destroy her own sister, who has succumbed to a curse in her blood...not exactly dressed for the part is she? She looks more prepared for a night of whipping the tender backs of middle aged men for money in a dank secluded sex dungeon somewhere.  But that's a plus for the game if you ask me, it wasn't constrained by realism in the least, it was just going for entertainment, and it succeeded.

As far as I know Ninja Gaiden is buried for now, hopefully in a few years we'll get another reboot. But in the mean time the exaggerated spirit (and damn near the entire cast) live on as fighters in the Dead or Alive series, and I'll happily take what I can get.
