Fun fact that spot that Carol found Henry was filmed in the same spot that Sophia (her daughter) was last seen. I love Morgan but that man is beyond traumatized he has some cold dialogue though he just straight out says “I don’t die” and smiles with a gun in his face.

What I love about this scene with Carol and Henry is not only is this the same spot they filmed in where Sophia was last, and the actor who plays Henry is the actress Sophia's brother, but it's like a parallel from before to now. Carol was unable to look for her daughter in the forest, she didn't have the inner strength to do it yet, so Sophia got bit and was killed. Carol also told Henry before: "Do you know what happens when kids go wandering into the woods? They never get seen again, and if they do they're monsters." She was thinking of Sophia. She was afraid to go looking for Henry, afraid she'd see the same thing over again. But in the end, she plucked up her courage to look, to have hope and in the end she saved him, in a forest right before he was killed by walkers.
