I see both Profit & AJ’s side on this both have good points. Carl was 13/14 when he died. Yes people need to grow up fast, but IF Rick had brought Siddiq back, it is true that Carl wouldn’t have gone out there to save him. That is 100% factual. Whether Rick should need to keep an eye on him. Frequently is a different point entirely and one that can be argued. Obviously yes Carl takes some blame in the situation because he made the choice to go out there. But it’s easy to throw blame anywhere. Hell you can even say that Carol has some blame in this because she was the one that traumatized Sam, who was the one that panicked and got bit and caused Ron to then shoot Carl in the face, losing his eyesight and peripheral vision, which then caused the bite to happen in the first place 🤣. Any situation can fit if you want to make it fit lol. People really forget how young “Carl” actually was because of how old the actor looked it was on some CW shit 😆. It is true that both Lori and Rick did not properly and maybe sternly reinforce that you need to be safe and think about your decisions. But Rick did have a conversation with Carl back in season five at the church about how you need to never let your guard down and it only takes one second and then it’s over. But the real person to blame here is the showrunner Scott Gimple, because he’s trying to make this situation make sense and there’s no way that it would make sense because it was never meant to happen in the fucking first place Smfh 🤦🏻‍♂️
