For reference to the games lore. The nukes went off in 2077 in this universe after world war 2 when nukes were dropped on Hiroshima, the world decided to expand the use of nuclear energy leading to a futuristic retro 60s theme. This show is extremely accurate to the game like spot on down to the smallest details. I think a lot of the background characters acting is perfect it actually makes them feel like NPCs from a game then you have the 3 main protagonists act more human.
