Thank you for reacting to this. Haven’t seen it in forever and honestly it holds up. Kinda shocked that the Oak didn’t know many of the memes from this film hahah. Sat down to watch your reaction with my sister and had a great time watching you all laugh just as much as we did.

The musical movie is an adaptation of the very successful Mean Girls musical broadway show which Tina Fey also helped produce and create. So it shouldn’t be terrible but it is also essentially the same movie just with songs and a new cast. I’ve only heard one song from the broadway cast so I can’t really speak on how the songs are but just wanted to give a little info on that.

I think the meme oak mentioned is Brianne writing in the kings guard book and then it shows Cersei that’s the only one I’ve seen. also janis told regina she was lebaneese and regina thought that meant lesbian😂

My older sisters took me to see this when i was 7 lol ( which was pretty young) but we will always quote this movie to each other and this movie has become a tradition to watch together every year when we're all together lol. I honestly think it's a great lesson for young kids because like Oak said, it may be exaggerated but is still pretty spot on in regard to bullying. My eldest sister sat down my nieces and had them watch this movie when they were about to enter the 7th grade, in order to prepare them and to also show them " Hey, don't be like the Plastics and watch out for any kids that may act like them. Just be yourself but also stand your ground and stick up for the underdog." I also agree with Oak that with the rise of social media bullying has become worse, and I also remember not being allowed to have a social media account until I was 13 and even then my mom and sisters had my login info in order to make sure that I wasn't being mean or being bullied.

You mentioned two movies at the end with Amanda Seyfried that I think you guys might really like, Jennifer’s Body and Les Miserables. The second is a musical but it’s very good with many strong actors
