Leo, the latest addition to the Lokesh Cinematic Universe alongside the acclaimed Kaithi and Vikram, is a sheer display of cinematic brilliance and adrenaline-pumping action. Seamlessly weaving its narrative, the film sets a new standard for action-oriented storytelling, accentuated by a pulsating soundtrack that ignites every frame. The synergy of the entire team behind Leo is commendable, with each element contributing to the film's distinctive identity within the LCU.

While Leo may not entirely revolve around a central storyline like its predecessors, it carves its own unique path, skillfully incorporating its LCU elements. This film undoubtedly lays the groundwork for a fun future within the expansive LCU universe... assuming there's more to come.

Since you haven't seen thrillers yet from india i would highly recommend Andhadhun 2018 and drishyam 2015 (remake) /drishyam 2 2022 (remake) would be perfect for your next reactions. A really big movie is also releasing on netflix january 26 called " Animal 2023" which will give you ALOT of views and members if you react to it asap. It would be really interesting to see your reaction 🙂.

I just joined your Patreon, I saw Leo a few weeks back but can't wait to rewatch it with you guys! You're now done with the LCU but there are so many other Indian movies you'd enjoy, I hope you continue reacting to more 😊 For one of your next watchalongs I'd suggest Maaveeran, it's another Tamil-speaking 2023 hit, in the US I think you have it on Prime with the Hindi and Tamil versions available. It's kind of a superhero movie but unique, and it has really cool fight scenes. Another must watch Tamil hit of 2023 is Jigarthanda Double X, prequel to Jigarthanda (2014). The 2014 one is pretty much a modern classic, it's a gangster movie/dark comedy with a bit of a meta aspect (it's about a young director who wants to make a biopic about a real life gangster). It's a great one even though the scope is not as big as the following prequel. The 2023 prequel is MASSIVE, an incredible cinematic experience. It's also a gangster movie with some dark comedy but there is also way more to it, it's a lot more meta and it was partly inspired by spaghetti westerns (one of the lead characters in it is a Clint Eastwood fan, hence why Eastwood's actual team twitted about the movie). The 2014 one is on Prime I think , also on Youtube with subs. The 2023 prequel is on Netflix. The prequel can be watched on its own as it's only connected through a reference at the very end.

Andhadhun and Drishyam 1 & 2 are good for sure. I'd rather they watch the original Malayalam versions of Drishyam but they are probably more difficult to find, unless they decide to take a subscription to Einthusan. Haven't seen Animal yet so can't say, but people have been polarized about it, some truly disliked it so it might be a bit of a risk?

Watch Jigarthanda Double X next! It's on Netflix and widely regarded as the best Tamil movie that came out last year. Please check it out!!!

Not just the best Tamil movie, it's actually among the highest rated 2023 movies on Letterboxd, all countries together.
