Pitch Perfect 3, the final installment in the beloved musical comedy franchise. The Bellas, now navigating post-college life, find themselves missing the harmonious days of performing together. When an opportunity arises for a USO tour, the group reunites for a chance to showcase their talents on a global stage. The film offers a mix of familiar faces and new characters, injecting fresh energy into the story.

Anna Kendrick brings her usual charm and charisma to the forefront. Rebel Wilson, provides many of the film's comedic moments, reminding us why we fell in love with the character in the first place. The ensemble cast, as always, shares excellent chemistry, and their camaraderie is palpable.

The movie succeeds in delivering what fans love most: infectious musical performances and witty humor. The decision to make this the final chapter feels bittersweet, as the film bids farewell to the beloved Bellas.

So I see from January’s trailer that you’re delving into musicals a bit. Anna Kendrick is a talented singer, and you should do The Last Five Years for a Valentine’s Day musical. It’s a totally happy romance about a failed relationship (not a spoiler because the first song is called Still Hurting). The storytelling techniques are very interesting, and the relationship itself is a subject of debate among Broadway nerds because you get both perspectives. It also stars Jeremy Jordan, Broadway phenom. It’s also underrated and not many people react to it.

This was a fantastic end to the franchise. I can see it falling short just in the sense of story, although the other ones weren't even all that deep as far as story and technical filmmaking goes, but it was just as emotional as the 2nd movie. I espeiclsly loved Fat Amy's rampage across the ship. It made perfect sense to me that she was able to do all that, since she was kind of brought up surrounded with that criminal element. It makes sense to me that she would have picked up a good bit of it. But man I was not expecting all that action! I'm definitely going to miss this franchise, and I never thought I'd say that.

So, while comparing movies one and two with one another, we now come across the moral of the third movie: everything does not have to be a competition. Sometimes we can enjoy it for what it is, on its own merit, fun and silly or serious and touching.

you should really pause on the passport cut to see where Lily/Esther is from (:

Anna Kendrick talked about working with DJ Khaled and he came in and clearly didnt read the script. In the scene where he tells her she got the part he was just improving and kept saying that Becca didn’t need the Bellas anymore and to forget those girls and clearly had no idea what the movie was about haha. Also yes - the finale was the last thing they shot. Those tears were very real.
