"The Continental" manages to deliver some captivating and extended action sequences that are nothing short of excellent. At times, it successfully channels John Wick's knack for injecting humor into its intense shootouts, offering a dash of comical misfortune in the midst of the chaos.

While the overarching story remains centered on Winston, the series does a commendable job of delving into his character and backstory, providing us and viewers with a more comprehensive understanding of him. Although this doesn't necessarily expand the John Wick franchise's overarching narrative, it does introduce us to some intriguing new faces.
