Guardians of the Galaxy Volume 3 delivers on all fronts, blending humor and inventive action seamlessly. However, its true strength lies in its exploration of darker moments, offering an emotionally satisfying farewell to the beloved MCU family as they confront their trauma and face the music. The film also stands out as a refreshing burst of unchecked creativity in a cinematic universe that has grown somewhat stale to some.

Chris Pratt shines once again as Peter Quill, bringing depth and a touch of sadness to the character as he grapples with protecting his family amid past losses. Zoe Saldaña's portrayal of Gamora brings a fresh personality and new dynamics to the group. Bradley Cooper's Rocket takes center stage emotionally, delving into his past and delivering some of the film's most heart-wrenching moments. The rest of the cast, including Dave Bautista, Pom Klementieff, and Karen Gillan, all deliver impressive performances, blending humor and dramatic depth skillfully. Chukwudi Iwuji excels as the larger-than-life villain, adding a menacing presence to the narrative.

James Gunn's direction is remarkable, demonstrating his commitment to giving these characters the farewell they deserve. The film features breathtaking action sequences, including a thrilling one-take hallway fight that stands as a highlight in the MCU. Notably, the CGI is of high quality, a welcome departure from recent downward trends in the MCU. The film's visionary approach showcases the potential when proper planning and creativity come together.

John Murphy's music diverges stylistically from the previous films, aligning more with The Suicide Squad's soundtrack. However, the iconic themes and Awesome Mix - Vol 3 create a wild and unique musical experience.

Guardians of the Galaxy Volume 3 delivers an emotionally gratifying and masterful cinematic experience. It bids farewell to our beloved characters in the most satisfying way, earning its place among the top end Marvel films made. If this was truly a last time for some, we thank you Cast and Crew for the awesome ride!

When Laila jumped out the cage to hug Rocket and they spun around, I knew IMMEDIATELY she was going to die, but not how. The gun-shot was expected but still shook me to my core. I was watching, waiting for a flood of blood or something, and for several seconds nothing happened, she feels her chest for the wound and nothing. Then she falls to reveal the man behind her. The scream Rocket gave then has to be in my top 10 favourite acted moments.

I tried to stay away from spoilers from this movie, and I got trolled... I put off watching this movie for so long because my friend told me Rocket died (I believed he told me on accident) ... I was pissed when they said that to me, didn't talk to them for weeks. I got trolled in such a calculated manner since my friend doesn't even troll like that, I believed it hook line and sinker, the movie made me a wreck... and to see it end the way it did lifted off so much emotional weight... whew. I'm glad I had a reason to watch this because I don't know if I would have. I'm really glad I didn't look up spoilers this movie was so good!

...I mean...I wish people didn't feel like they needed to describe their gross crying. Honestly. You cried really hard. Can you just say that and not assume anyone needs to know how much mucus was involved?

… i mean…. I wish people didn’t feel the need to comment on things they didn’t like. Honestly. You don’t like hearing about gross crying. Can you just keep scrolling instead of reading the full comment and not assume anyone wants to hear about what you do and don’t like reading about, or at least assume nobody cares about what sourpuss comment you wanna reply with?
