Good news though.... OBS didn't mess with this!

Wonka Trailer reaction.

What was your reaction to the trailer? This seems just a bit different. And The reveal at the end with Huge G! Fantastic.

I think y'all should react to both. Like the original the best, but both are good in different ways

The O is missing in the title and it was seriously hilarious to see this come up in my notifications. Wanka reaction 😂

To respond to Oak's question : Before Harry Potter, "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory" ( 1964 ) was a book that gave me magical feelings. I would say listen to the audio book ( of the 1964 book ) first - let the original sentences and descriptions give you the fantastical mental images first. And then, watch the Gene Wilder film ( I've never seen this one, so I'll be watching it for the first time if you react to it ), then watch the Johnny Depp film - all before watching the Timothee Chalamet version.

Aha yeah, that guy is from the Great British Baking show, (or Bake Off here in the UK). He's more so a well known british comedian over here, who just ended up hosting that show. But he's more known for his sketch shows back in the 2000's. But he's been doing a lot more acting roles recently. Looks like theres a lot of Paddington actors in this too. The mum for instance. She was also the main character in Shape of Water. You guys gotta watch Paddington, it's such a solid movie, and so wholesome.

I think you have to watch them in order, just to know the references and cultural impact in order (spoiler alert, first is a classic)

Brittany McGee

You guys should watch the first two (in release order) before this movie comes out. Also, The King is a good Timothee Chalamet movie if y’all haven’t seen it

Jeff K

They mixed up their OnlyFans page with their Patreon page on that one.

Jenna

Okay you guys HAVE to watch both!! They have their similarities and their differences, but I enjoy both! They kinda freaked me out at some points as a small kid to be honest ha!

Dustee Lodholtz

Okay, now we need you all to watch the Wonka movies, id love to see which is your favorite of the 2, theyre both amazing in their own rites, but id love to see your thoughts on them :)

I’m a huge fan of the original; I loved the call back to it in Thor Ragnarok when he is in the chair in the tunnel approaching the grandmaster. The song playing is from Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory. Anyway, for some reason this trailer did not resonate with me. I felt all the jokes/humor were forced or cringe and Timothee Chalamet’s interpretation of Wonka gave me “unhinged Jessie Eisenberg as Lex Luthor” in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice. It feels like they are relying on the beautiful colors and set pieces to awe the audience rather than the acting and script. Not sure I’ll watch this version.

Trigon

That was actually lex luthor jr, the son of lex luthor so the different interpretation makes sense. Since wonka is directly linking to the gene wilder version i totally agree with you, especially the jokes.

Rockstar

No, WE don't. Hive mind alert, and who put you in charge?

keara king

you guys should totally react the the og and the depp version before this one!

I am a strong believer in release order!
