Dungeons and Dragons: Honor Among Thieves was a really fun film. With a stellar cast including Chris Pine, Michelle Rodriguez, Regé-Jean Page, Justice Smith, Sophia Lillis, and Hugh Grant, the performances shine. Got to say, Hugh Grant steals the show. And that cameo was fantastic!!!!! We don't feel like you need to about the game in order to watch.

The film's pacing was pretty good, blending character development, gripping action, and intricate plot twists were great. The plot feels like it was plucked from a DND campaign for the most part. The awe-inspiring world-building transports viewers into a spellbinding universe. The well-executed humor adds an organic and perfectly timed touch, balancing laughter and adventure. Would definitely recommend this to anyone to watch.

At the time of this post, HD is still processing.

Do you have analysis of how many people watch full length reactions? Im always curious of that as i didnt think many people would have the setup to do so

Badd Medicine

These are on YouTube. You'll be able to see the views. That's really metric we see as well.

Ana

Damn I was debating on renting cuz $22 is steep for renting. But now I have to because I have to watch y'all's reaction 😩😩😂 y'all have a pull on me. Best reactors 💜🖤

Loved your reaction as usual ! Could you guys react to Call Me By Your Name please?

FYI! If you're like me and wanted to hold off and not spend the $20 for VOD, Paramount+ twitter account, about an hour ago, tweeted out that the movie will begin streaming on the service TOMORROW. So save yourself a twenty if you're a subscriber there, and wait a day to watch with the guys.

The Inedible Mattman!

Excited to watch this but will need to wait a day until it's on Paramount+. I'm just a little too broke to rent the movie lol Hey, quick question though -- have you guys reacted to (or have you seen before) the movie Dodgeball? It's one of my all time favorite comedies, and I've seen a lot of reactors watch it recently. I'd love to see you all watch it if you haven't seen it yet.

Jeff K

I was just about to pull the trigger on the rental, and then a friend shared that tweet on Facebook right before I hit "submit"... great timing! Haha

Yes, please wait for paramount. We would've had we known about it. Mason Quinn is the only one. He has a thing against Will Ferrell & Ben Stiller. You might be seeing a poll coming soon of us forcing Mason Quinn to watch some of their films that you all vote on.

Aww man, I wish I had read the comments first. I definitely do regret spending the 20 dollars on a movie I was sure I wasn't going to like, but I flipped a coin for it lol.

I want you guys to know that your value as entertainers should not be understated. There's been many movies that I've never really had an interest in watching but which I've seen simply because you guys had a reaction up. This one is one of them. Now that I've seen it, I can say that my assumption about the movie was justified and I don't think there's really any quality here at all, but I definitely enjoyed it much more because of your reactions than I would have by myself. I do regret that I spent money on it, if only because that's more money that executives can use to justify an undeserved sequel. I cna only hope that any future D&D movies follow some of the more established stories in the universe like the story of Drizzt Do'Urden, and that they're handled by better people than the crew responsible for this one. Sorry if this bursts anyone's bubble.

Miss Timi Fantastico

I liked this one quite a bit but I’m pretty new to D&D myself. Do you have any good books or stories you suggest? I’ve got too many credits on audible to count and I’d love some recommendations!

Marco Gutierrez

R. A. Salvatore, 100%. He is the king of D&D stories. If you want to dip your toes in to see his writing style and some of his characters, there's a great little anthology of short stories he wrote centered around many of his characters. Bonus points for it being narrated by celebrities, many of whom are very into D&D like Sean Astin, Will Wheaton, and Felicia Day.

Marco Gutierrez

No problem! If you ever need any other book recommendations, feel free to let me know, although I don't think you can friend people on here lol. I listen to them all the time while I'm at work so I've got a big catalogue.

I can't see all of the comments for some reason, so sorry if someone mentioned this. In the Sun Games, one of the teams is dressed like the original D&D cartoon characters. Great homage to them! I love your reviews/reactions and I have watched many of them more than once. It's wonderful to see the three of you getting so much out of the movies and not shying away from the "difficult" conversations.

Dee

Probably wouldn’t have watched this one as soon if it weren’t for you guys, but glad I did cause it was pretty good. I loved Michelle in this, all the actors were good.

Do Not Talk About Fight Club

Sadly I worked on the only movie Michelle Rodriguez isn't a bad ass. Milton's Secret. It's terrible, don't watch it. But the cool part was we got to hang out with her for 3 weeks.

Steven K

Just to remind yall since yall didn't recognize her, Doric was actually the actress who played Beverly Marsh in the IT(2017) remake.

L AH

I was waiting for you guys to watch this movie and I wasn’t disappointed. Really exciting movie, pretty funny with lots of action I love Michelle and Chris.

Heathwitch

It was great to watch this with you -- thank you so much for getting this out so soon! I enjoyed this so much more than I thought I would. I was going to ask if you had seen Pokémon: Detective Pikachu as soon as I recognised Justice Smith, but you talked about this a little in the post-film chat. :) Sofina was played by Daisy Head, who is the daughter of Anthony Stewart Head (Giles in Buffy, and known in the UK from the old Nescafé Coffee adverts). She also plays Genya in Shadow and Bone, and is superb in that, too!

Sarai

Fun movie and reaction! Funny enough, I worked on a children's book that has characters playing D&D; it's a fun story with great art (I think so anyways): DnDoggos: Get the Party Started. It won't be published until next year, but here's a link for anyone interested: https://us.macmillan.com/books/9781250834348/dndoggosgetthepartystarted

Angelina

Such a fun ride! 🎉

Fancy Clan

Ugh so happy to see you guys do this one. I'm waiting for this weekend to watch it myself, lm glad you got to it first

TinaLama

I don't fall into the D&D fanbase but this movie was very fun to watch. I love Chris Pine and Rege Jean Page in this movie.
