How to Train Your Dragon 3... this film takes everything that was great about the previous movies and elevates it to new heights. The animation in this film is nothing short of breathtaking. The character designs, particularly those of the dragons, are both realistic and fantastical, making them feel like true living creatures with personalities and quirks all their own.

Of course, the voice cast is also a major reason for the film's success. Jay Baruchel delivers another fantastic performance as Hiccup, bringing both humor and heart to the role. America Ferrera and Cate Blanchett are equally impressive, infusing their characters with depth and emotion. The supporting cast, including Jonah Hill, Kristen Wiig, and Kit Harington, also deserve recognition for their fantastic work

How to Train Your Dragon 3 deals with mature themes of letting go, growing up, and the bonds of friendship, all while maintaining a sense of wonder and magic. Truly, well done! Bravo to all involved! Thank you all for recommending this!

What was your reaction? Best trilogy ever for animation?

How To Train You Dragon 3 FULL REACTION

Best animated trilogy BY FAR, it gives the same sense of 'coming of age' as the Harry Potter franchise (only a couple movies fewer hehe), at least for our generation that 'grew up' along side each release of these movies and their characters and the development of it all. Just plainly an outstanding work from Dreamworks!

Not an animated movie but you guys should watch the Paddington movies. There are only two of them but they are both phenomenal movies with great filmmaking and a lot of heart.

I will forever love this series! I remember going to the theaters with my little brothers when this one came out and there wasn't a dry eye in the room at the end. Maybe you guys can check out Rise of the Guardians or Spirit Stallion of the Cimarron?

I love this sooo much! It is so great to see light fury and their relationship with Toothles, the dance he did is hilarious. The hidden world is like paradise for dragons. And the topic of letting go hits me hard every time. It is difficult to let go, but what is easy is not always right. Everything about this movie, well same as previous two, is incredible. I am glad that you like it as much as we do :)

Oh yes, I love these two movies! Would be great to see reaction to them.

I loved this reaction!!!! Oak got emotional in 2 and Answer got emotional in 3. HTTYD is one of my most favorite animated trilogies. I am a sucker for movies that make me cry!!! Toy Story 3 wrecked me too!!! Ihaven’t heard of any more releases of a 4th movie but if you guys need more HTTYD content Netflix has 3 different TV series that have our beloved cast in them. So feel free to check that out too. I can’t wait for y’all to dive more into some more animated films. Being a mom, I have fallen in love with animation so I hope you guys can continue to find the awesomeness in animation. Thanks for your awesome reactions. ❤️❤️❤️

Loved joining you guys for this trilogy. I cried during the like last half of it because I knew Toothless and the dragons would be leaving. You see Hiccup and Astrid reunite with them years later but the dragons do stay gone. So it just breaks my heart everytime. There is no more sequels to the story and has never been talk of anymore as this was meant to be the last film of the series. Though I've heard there may be a live action adaptation coming but sometime down the road yet. Thank you guys for reacting and I love your discussion afterwards. You always have great insights.

BOTH! YES! And Spirit is just...wow. I would love to see them react to those.

Thank you for another fantastic reaction. This whole series is the best animated trilogy of all time, and I'm so glad you reacted to it. You may want to try some of the other short films/TV shows set in the same universe -- a complete timeline/watch list can be found here: https://www.imdb.com/list/ls020816781/ I saw all these movies in the cinema, and it was amazing to see the characters exploring Hidden World on the big screen, with all the fantastic lighting and detail. No matter how many times I rewatch this trilogy, each of makes me cry and it's especially this one: right from when they say goodbye to their dragons to the end credits, I'm in tears and my heart aches. The other dragon film that has done that to me is DragonHeart from 1996, which I think I've suggested before as something to react to. :) I also think that this last movie is a good lesson about death, too. Watching this a few months after losing two of my cats, it's hit me harder in the feels this time, especially as we had to make the decision to guide them over to the other side. This film is a good metaphor for that, I feel. I love anything with dragons and I will leave you with one of my favourite dragon quotes: “The skies of this world were always meant to have dragons. When they are not there, humans miss them. Some never think of them, of course. But some children, from the time they are small, they look up at a blue summer sky and watch for something that never comes. Because they know.” ~ Robin Hobb (The Golden Fool, p558).

Yes! Definitely Rise of the Guardians. That's a frequent re-watch for me (oddly enough I like to pair it with The Holiday). It's been some years since I saw Spirit but that would be awesome, too.

Hiccup has braids in the last movie as well. I liked how nicely their animation ages him, the 5 years from the first to second movie, then much more at the end of the third. This was my first watch of this movie. I enjoyed it. I think the second is my favorite in this trilogy. As per the discussion of letting pets loose in the wild, it made me think of a news story I saw a few days ago about Minnesota state troopers finding a bunny abandoned on the side of the road. Sometimes setting animals free is not good if they can’t survive in the wild, fortunately that cute bunny was rescued… https://www.wftv.com/news/trending/minnesota-troopers-rescue-bunny-found-along-side-highway/7NMRFPYQZBC5TAXUT2QQJJI5DY/ I would think setting the dragons free in this movie, even if they were domesticated, would be fine since they left for a land of dragons where they should be safe and thrive. 😎

Man I'm glad I decided to jump in on movie 2 and 3, I have seen the first and not doing much research when movie 2 and 3 came out I just assumed they were meh since none of my family went to see them and never saw the last two movies. Movie 2 and 3 were awesome, glad I watched them. Definitely in my recommended list now (for all 3 movies).

I didn't remember this movie made me cry so much... ! Oh my gosh. As for the ending, when Hiccup says that Berkians are waiting for the right moment to bring back the dragons, I don't see it as an opening for another movie, but rather like a message to our present IRL selves. A message of hope that maybe, one day, we will have dragons. I think it's a very endearing idea for kids, to imagine that dragons might come back :)
