Another fantastic episode! This show just keeps hitting you with emotion. Love it! We finally get a reunion. But, with that reunion came some hard truths. We see a very vulnerable Joel which he delivered a truth of self criticism. But he shouldn't doubt himself that hard.  And that ending... wild!

This episode 6 was excellent episode 3 and episode 6 are my favorite but this is my favorite Pedro Pascal as Joel episode and his scenes with belle Ramsey Ellie are just phenomenal/cute.

Quincy Huntley

They also skipped past an infected fight that occurs in the university which would be the second encounter with a bloater but i guess their saving up for something big later

2023-02-24 23:07:58 Thanks for introducing me to "The Last of Us"! At first, I was not going to watch it, but seeing Badd Medicine love it in the descriptions, was part of why I decided to try it. ( The other part was noticing another youtuber mention gay husbands Bill and Frank in episode 1x3 "Long, Long Time", which was great to see ). 🟢 Episode 1x6 "Kin" is also great. In the podcast Druckmann/Mazin described Joel's giving Ellie a choice, as a "cop out" and "doing himself a favor". But I really like how the episode still showed a story where, it was less important for the adult to decide what is best for the child - and that it was more important for the adult to help the child in the way the child asks for and desires ( that's my interpretation, at least ).

Thank you Oak! The "shouldn't be hard to miss" thing bothered me for like 30 minutes after that! Haha! Glad I wasn't the only one. :)
