Ready or Not

Supernatural has a few really good episodes for Halloween! For movies, I like Van Helsing, Cabin In the Woods, and Secret Window

kendallxcreates

IT or the conjuring also the Halloween series!

breanna

I recommend Scream (1996) and Ready or Not

Plebcy

I really recommend both IT movies if you haven’t seen them already. I watched them both last halloween and it’s amazing. If you have seen both ITS, i recommend the conjuring, very very scary.

Pratish Lakhani

1) hereditary 2) marianne (tv show) I absolutely loved both. Hereditary is just mad

L AH

Ready or Not Hereditary X The Night House I saw the devil (Ang-ma-reul bo-at-da) The Haunting of Hill House (TV show) And for your spare time if you guys want, Barbarian is supposedly a really good horror movie to check out in theaters !

Money-Kate Olsen

Don’t know if you’ve seen any of these: The Collector (2009), Hereditary, Doctor Sleep, Invisible Man, Get Out, 28 Days Later, Insidious, Happy Death Day

Kristin Carter

Not horror, just good Halloween movies: Practical Magic, Sleepy Hollow, Edward Scissorhands

Franny Fuller

Mandy (with Nicolas’s Cage) is just batsh*t and so much fun. The Descent is one of the tensest horror movies I’ve ever seen. X was really fun, and the prequel Pearl is coming out this month. Trick r’ Treat is the most Halloween-y movie everrr. Titane (or any Julia Ducournau, Raw is also so good ), You’re Next is really fun, Lady Snowblood has some of the best movie blood I’ve ever see , Suspiria (either release) some heavy hitter actors and incredible sound-tracks in either ( Thom York from Radiohead scored the 2018 version) Haven’t seen any reactions to any of these before. :)

Laurie Lioux

Hereditary, The Shining , NOPE

Jenna

I know it’s not a movie but I want to second The Haunting of Hill House on netflix! Limited series so only 1 season and it’s absolutely fantastic!! A top 3 show of my life!!

Jasmin

I'd love you to watch some Tim Burton like Beetlejuice (1988), Frankenweenie or Nightmare before Christmas. Another animation movie I love is Coraline (not Tim Burton), but it's creepy af. Stephen King's IT is also great, even the ones from the 90ies. Scared the shit out of me back then when I was around 11. :D

Shane Kolaga

Cabin in the Woods!

I think the IT films would be great to react to or the Alien franchise but i think you guys have likely seen those movies

Anonymous

It's not really halloween-themed even though it's horror, but I would love to see a reaction of Saw. So many people disregard those movies due to the brutality of it, and just blow it away as something they're not into. To me, that is just like not watching Harry Potter because you think they are childrens movies. Then you watch them and are mind blown. The story and plot behind Saw is amazing, and combined with the brutality it gives a really unique watching experience. It's also a very low budget movie, which can be appreciated by movie reviewers like yourselves I mean you all might have seen it and hate it for all I know lol but thats my take 🤷🏼‍♂️

Tucker & Dale vs Evil

Chandra

I’m not a big fan of slasher horror and most paranormal horror. To this day I can’t get through Poltergeist. I prefer psychological and sci-fi horror. The Others - Nicole Kidman The Thing - Kurt Russell The Bad Seed 1956 The Omen 1976 Invasion of the Body Snatchers 1978 - Donald Sutherland The Fly - Jeff Goldblum Carrie Cissy Spacek 28 Days Later - Cillian Murphy. The Shining - Jack Nicholson Exorcist 1973. I would add the Aliens series but only the first one can really be considered horror.

There are some really good suggestions in the comments already. I think these are good for conversation too: Prometheus (2012), The Haunting (1999), The Shining (1980)

My fave season is here!!! Some recommendations from me and why I love em: 1. MIDSOMMAR (2019) - saying "wtf" will be your hobby watching it. incredible movie with lots of question marks 2. WORLD WAR Z (2013) - action packed, heart tugging, butt clenching movie 3. THE INVISIBLE MAN (2020) - the plot was insaneeee, gotta watch it to experience it 4. MOTHER (2017) -ps genuinely still stunned by this movie. it was a cinematic masterpiece that i might never be able to watch ever again 5. A QUIET PLACE (2018) - i truly appreciated the way this movie was shot and how the writing went. John Krasinski did incredible for his first project. acting without barely any dialogue was wow for the actors An bonus: A Haunting of Hillhouse if you guys wanna delve into some horror genre TV series to change it up instead of movies only!

Aleksandra

Host! Link below. It's a Korean horror movie that rivals anything out of Hollywood. The special effects were done by Wetta studios, the same people who worked on Lord of the Rings. Stellar script, cast, and quality. Even if it doesn't make your top list due to lack of awareness (American popularity), it's a masterpiece that's worth watching. It's intelligent, horrific, and even funny at times. Thank you for a great channel. :-) https://www.google.com/search?client=firefox-b-1-d&q=host+korean+horror+movie

I agree with the others who've suggested The Haunting of Hill House series (assuming y'all haven't already watched it). It is not only perfect for Halloween with its scares, but it's also EXTREMELY well written, directed, and acted. The acting.... WOW! EXCELLENT EXCELLENT series, I really hope to see y'all react to 👍🏻

Tucker and dale vs evil

Roxanne LIL CRIP Kemmerer

What Lies Beneath is such a great movie!! It holds up after all these yrs as a genuinely awesome thriller. Love this suggestion 👍🏻

Roxanne LIL CRIP Kemmerer

I was a HUGE fan of Nope! It has easily become my favorite Peele flick so far. And THAT scene (Gordys Home)..... seeing in in Dolby at the theater it was so quiet you could hear a pin drop, which amped up the disturbing, unsettling feeling it gave off. I swear, that shit stayed on my mind for days, it really creeped me out!lolol

Laurie Lioux

100% agree about that particular scene. The whole film was very atmospheric and unsettling.

Inger Lise

The cabin in the woods, The Witches (2020), the conjuring, It

I'm down with John Carpenter's The Thing, Alien and Aliens, Halloween 2018, and a b movie fave, Trick r Treat from 2007! It's a gas, and totally fun!!

Richard Davies

The Thir13en Ghosts is pretty decent.

Andrew Gamez

Paranormal activity series, orphen and orphen first kill are decent, a quiet place 1 and 2, exorcist.

Angelina

For a BADD Horror Movie: Zombeavers 😂 For something good, either a couple episodes/movies of Creepshow haha Or even the Tell Me A Story series

PastelGinger

Emily Tay

I think The Haunting of Hill House series, if you haven’t already seen it. It’s just on another level how great it is visually, story telling, acting. Crazy good!! There’s also Midsommar I’ve heard a lot about.

keara king
