Not bad, but this is a slower pace than expected for this series. Anyone else feel its of to a slow start? Nice to get introduced to a few new characters as well again.  

We don't know much about the books. Curious to everyone's thoughts on this episode if you are into the books.

2023-02-11 00:11:56 I super loved The Lord of the Rings book but omg it was sloooowwww...like slower than this show. That book is like the size of the Bible lol and The Silmarillion is even slower than LotR, because it's basically just different stories all packed into one book, and it lacks the "camaraderie" of LotR & The Hobbit. A cousin in law of mine loves Tolkien like I do, and they will criticize how Tolkien would spend like a paragraph describing just one flower in a field of flowers. Tolkien is one of the best writers ever but he is also the king of 'omg just get to the POINT already I didn't come here to read a filibuster' 🤣
