YT CUT: Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 1

Tyler Conner

They did Mad-Eye dirty in this movie. In the book he actually died fighting off numerous death eaters because they believed Harry would be with the strongest member of the order.

It is also heavily theorized that he would have survived the encounter with the death eaters and held his own against Voldemort had Mundungus not abandoned him from the very beginning.

😢😢 We know the pain guys. Dobbys death felt like the equivalent of a "Stone Cold Stunner"... only worse... then and now but, he sure went out like the HERO he was for his friends I've been following you guys for awhile now. Joined your Pateron for the HP reactions and reviews. Watched them all, including DH PT. 2 and the reunion special.  I've waited to jump into the comment section until now though.  Because I, like the Oak has admitted to 😉, can be very "long winded" at times  and condensing my feelings towards this series without  turning it into  a novel itself is extremely hard lol but, I'll try my best 🤷‍♀️ My Harry Potter story began rather normally back in the summer of 2000.... back when I still had a "normal" life. I was about 14, my younger brother 12. The first 4 books had  been released. He was already a fan and wanted me to read them just so he had somebody  to talk about them with over summer vacation.  After refusing him several times because I thought I was "too cool" for HP he offered to PAY ME $10 to read the first book and if I truly didn't enjoy it he would leave me alone about it. Well..... 22 YEARS LATER  we each still laugh, reminisce, and share that story because I was irrevocably HOOKED by like the 3rd chapter and I even gave him the $10 back in exchange for the 2nd book (no shame) something I remember he and our parents laughed at (again no shame) lol Because, at that time, there was no way  my brother and I could have ever known what life had in store for us and how important a book series would be to help us through the darkest times of our lives. This is where the story gets "heavy" because our seemingly normal life ended on November 29th 2001 when our mom died very unexpectedly from a brain aneurysm, she was 37, I was 15, my brother 13. Barely 2 years later, our world STOPPED when our dad died of a heart attack on December 18th, 2003. I was 17, my brother 15. We both started off Harry's journey as an outsider looking in on him trying to navigate life without his parents then halfway through.....we JOINED him on that journey.  I can honestly say Harry Potter helped  me achieve one of  my greatest comforts over the last 2 decades. I've learned I can "tap in" to my parents any time I want because they truly live within me. I mean, I AM them. Thier blood is my blood. Thier feelings are my feelings. Everything about them I carry. So, in a way, they are still here. Remember at the end of Deathly Hallows when Harry uses the resurrection stone and says, "What are you all doing here??" His mom says, "We never left." We never left. Can you imagine how much those words mean  to anyone who has ever lost a loved one but, especially, children/teenagers who have lost thier parents?? There's no way to accurately  describe the depth of that sentiment. It cant be put into words. These books also helped me understand how LUCKY I actually was to have had 15 and 17 years with my parents and how lucky I am to have my amazing brother. To be able to share our memories of them and have another "link" to the past "normal life" that slips further and further away with every year that passes is something I cherish everyday. I am so incredibly grateful  that I can see the GOOD  in our situation instead of the BAD.... thank you Harry Potter and Albus Dumbledore 😊 Those are just a couple examples of the many "life lessons" contained within this magical series that you guys often point out. There are HUNDREDS more for anyone and everyone from all walks of life and situations.  Like, I said, I've resisted commenting so far but, yalls review at the end of THIS movie in particular sent me over the edge. You guys hit absolutely every POINT a "fan" could wish to convey about this series  and why people should at least give them a try without judging.   Especially when you guys talked about  the EXCITMENT factor, that really resonated with me.  I mean, I'm in my 30's now but, I used to be a young girl waiting in line with her brother for every midnight book release starting with the Order of the Phoenix and for every midnight movie premiere starting with the Prisoner of Azkaban and we didnt miss a single one!!!! Yet I can still get every bit as excited and giddy about this series as I did waiting in those lines. After all this time, it's still "fresh".  I know this series BETTER than back of hands  from beginning to end... but, there's NEVER a wrong time for a Potter book or movie.  It hasnt gotten "old" for me in the slightest. It will always remain a constant in my life.   I  want to  sincerely THANK YOU guys for sharing the START of your Harry Potter experience with us. The only thing better than being a part of this wonderful world  is welcoming others to it. You guys took it to an entirely different level by actually encouraging others to share our knowledge or stories  then appreciating and understanding  just how deep these books and movies mean to millions all around  world.  Thank you guys for reading so many  comments  and responding to as many as you can. I'm sure that's a big undertaking and very overwhelming but, all your new Potter friends and fans appreciate it so, so much 🥰🥰 It doesnt matter when or why or how Harry Potter comes into your life but, when it does it NEVER leaves.  I hope you guys please, please, PLEASE consider reading or listening to the books. Jim Dale's version is on Audible. He is absolutely phenomenal and does all the character voices, just like Emma Wastons dad 😉   Thanks again so much guys, I've enjoyed watching yalls reactions and reviews even more than I thought I would. It's been amazing. Looking forward to the Potter round table, for sure 🥰🥰🥰🥰 Sorry for the mini novel. I tried lol 😬😬

Dobby's death in this movie always reminds me of the part in the chamber of secrets when Harry asks Dobby to promise to never try to save his life again, but alas he will always be there for his friend, Harry Potter.

There is a video on YouTube of an interview like session between JK Rowling and Daniel Radcliff that was posted 9 or 10 years ago where JK and Dan chat about Harry Potter it’s so fantastic, I highly recommend watching it and even better reacting to it, it’s called “ A conversation between JK Rowling and Daniel Radcliffe”
