Eee!!! Let's GO!!

this prequel isn’t appreciated enough, it’s so cute 😭

I love this movie so much. I really like the lesson in this movie that no matter how passionate you are about something, sometimes for reasons out of your control it won’t work out. It’s super realistic and something I think a lot of people could relate to. For me, I have a condition that makes me struggle a LOT with motor skills. I have VERY little to no hand eye coordination too. And it’s not something that practice/time can improve. Before I knew I had this condition, I was very into sports as a kid and I tried and tried but failed at almost all of them. I was devastated. Now I’ve found other things I love that I’m good at. Mike’s story is one we can all take from: sometimes our dreams don’t exactly work out so we might have to make accommodations for our strengths and weaknesses.

Miki Asada

Yessss I’ve been waiting for it!😭 I’m gonna put it for the daycare kiddos and listen to BM reaction on my earbuds lol

Emily G

Yay! I’m so excited!

Erlacine

Awesome! I can watch something rn to get my mind off the anxiety from the election

Miki Asada

Oh wait I just saw y’all have the uncut version…I’m still gonna have them watch the movie🤣

Steven K

I might be in the minority but I love this movie more than the first

Miki Asada

The uncut ones show the full movies along their reaction. And just the full reactions have movies blurred and no sounds

Dan Scanlon, the writer and director of this movie, knocked it out of the park. Another Pixar movie he wrote and directed is Onward, which stars Chris Pratt and Tom Holland. It even got nominated for Best Animated Feature at the Oscars. Worth checking out since you enjoyed this one. ☺️

Alanna Banana 🍌

So I definitely love them both but it’s probably Monsters University for me, especially with the supporting characters in this movie I liked more. 😊

Tomasina Hill

I remember watching this in theaters while I was in college and crying because this film gave me the reassurance that everything will be okay. Excellent movie!!!!

Marco Gutierrez

Seriously, it's a very underrated message but it's one that people definitely need to hear. I think there's a lot to be said for finding what you're good at and finding something to love and enjoy in that, instead of just finding what you love and then trying to make a career out of that. Sometimes our hobbies should just be our hobbies so we can enjoy them more instead of turning them into obligations.

Alanna Banana 🍌

I agree. It’s a message that isn’t in a lot of movies. We just gotta find what we’re good at.

Marco Gutierrez

Oh wow that's a fun and unique way of watching it. I watch along sometimes while at work but that's just to myself. How'd it go?

Marco Gutierrez

I agree a lot that this movie by itself is just a great story and definitely better than the original in that way. The heart and soul of the original movie is definitely Boo. This one was actually such a great subversion of expectations because you start watching it and think Mike and Sully are gonna be best friends, but it turns out that it's Randall who's Mike's friend and Sully is his enemy. And it plays with all of the college tropes so well while not being stale. I also think that the end is so beautiful because there's SO much to say for working hard and working your way up from the bottom. So many people just want to get to endgame immediately because there's this sense of entitlement. I started my adult life with absolutely nothing and no prospects because my parents did a terrible job, but I managed to work my way to success despite all that. There's so much more to be gained in experience and value by taking that road instead of seeking shortcuts.

Ivan Rasmussen

THE Monsters University. Love it haha

Janine Langer

Onward is so amazing, a beautiful, hilarious and heartwarming movie about siblings. ❤️

Megan Schnese

Great reaction! Another Pixar film I'd love to see you react to is Onward!

GalwithPencils

I want to study animation and am working hard to be able to get into the college of my choice. My job? I'm a janitor. It's not a "classy" job, but it's a job nonetheless! And I enjoy my job. The people I clean for are nice, MOST of my colleagues are too. (We all have a Randall, am I right?) So I really connect with Mikey in this movie, and I do agree with Oak. Upside is that I need to get my Dutch equivalent of a GED, and I'm all set to go, because I DID get in last year, just flunked on math. (Yeah. Math for art school. Make it make sense.)

Alanna Banana 🍌

Rooting for you to study animation. 👊 I’m glad you enjoy your job as well. It’s definitely an essential job that doesn’t get enough gratitude. 🩷

Olive_Sandy

Great reaction as always. I do love this prequel it’s so much fun to watch. Have you all seen Finding Nemo? If not, can we get a reaction 😊

Milly

loved Oak's discussion in the end of the reaction! as someone who started working as a trainee in the hotel, got offered my first ever full-time position at the front desk, and last year got promoted to the front desk supervisor. anything is possible!

Alexiani Gollarza

The most interesting thing that I only noticed a few months ago is that Disney or animated or whatever thing, movie, books etc, give us the main character as a winner, a person that gets whatever they want but I think Mike is the only one that didn't get what he wanted and life got him what he was really good at. This lesson is really good and big

Alexiani Gollarza

This is the best, Oak and Mason were nervous for Mike at the end and that look Answer gave to the camara ahahhahahaha he knew what was coming

Alexiani Gollarza

To answer Mason, yes, this movie lived up to the first one and was even better (for me). The beautiful thing here is that Mike continue to surprise the world by changing the scaring world into a laughing world and Sully became his own person and not the fmily legacy name, he became the first monster to befriend a child and grew expectations by being the director of the company. Love it!! listening to the review right now

maHyknapS

Hi Guys, Just to let u know, great Thing with the timelimeted uncut Version. Watching ur reaction on Smartphone while going to bed, was great. Keep it Up! Greetings from Germany

Alanna Banana 🍌

I noticed Answer’s look too. Seeing how excited Oak and Quinn were for Mike’s “victory” while us and Answer knowing it was rigged all along 😞

Angelina

I love this movie so much 😆 Great reaction, y’all!!!
