Not sure if you saw my comment on the weekly schedule post but again personally I’d rather watch 4x1&4x2 as a double episode instead of 3x5&3x6 if you were planning to do it again. I wish I could elaborate on this more but I don’t want to spoil anything, in my head this just makes more sense :)

I pulled this off an article about Peaky Blinders: "Speaking to fans, creator Steven Knight stated that the creative reasoning behind Grace's death was simply that Tommy wasn't supposed to be happy. If Grace were to remain alive, Tommy would have felt satisfied with his life and probably stepped away from the Peaky Blinders, but her death gives him a reason to be angry and seek retribution...Grace's death gives Tommy more emotional depth allowing the viewers to sympathize with him." I understand why you want 4x1 and 4x2 as a double but 3x5 and 3x6 would be an incredible double too. I mean….we probably can’t get another double, I think maybe they mistakenly posted a second episode last time. But here’s hoping! 🤣

Great reaction to this episode. Steven Knight said that he gave Grace her name for a very specific reason as her character was written to save Tommy. He also killed her off, (sorry she is definitely dead,) because Tommy is never supposed to be truly happy, which is so sad for Tommy but great for the story and character development.
