I would recommend WATCHING the next intro (sound + visuals), even if it does contain some spoilers. That's just how a lot of anime intros are. Not only is the next intro a masterpiece IMO, but intros are meant to be watched. They set the mood/vibes for the episode. If an intro is supposed to be skipped, why even have it in the first place?

Now that we are an episode away, I would just like to say the last time there was a big spoiler vs non spoiler argument was the mid credits scene in episode 3x12. The guys decided to end up watching it and I don't think any of it spoiled a single thing for them. I don't know who yall are seeking advice from or if you're just reading comments here, but it seems like the vast majority of people are telling you its fine. Im in that same camp, I personally watched it in my first time and to me it did not take away from my experience. Just watch the intro, don't dig too deep into things and just enjoy the ride. Hell, Season 2 intro had dinosaurs and flying whales.

Please watch the next intro!!!! This song is on a different level and in combination with the animation and the picked scenes it's one of my all time favorite openings. It hits heart. In November I'm going to see the band of the next intro song live... It is a really great chance to see them in my country and I couldn't miss that. I'm going to witness the song live and I can't believe it.

Oh god another damn debate about the intro. From my point of view this intro is the most epic however the spoilers are absolutely blatant and can ruin the eventual surprise of things. The visuals on screen are extremely obvious and the song lyrics and song name are spoilers as well. I personally would recommend you skip until episode 23 to watch it

Just an early heads up, I really hope you consider watching 19, 20 and 21 in one sitting. This is the final epic trilogy of 3 episodes rivalling that of late season 3 and in my opinion better. Sitting down for one hour to watch these episodes will blow your mind to pieces and I can’t wait for those reactions. I’m not sure what you would do with your schedule then as the remaining episodes would be Week 1: 22 and 23 Week 2: 24 and 25 Week 3: 26 and 27 Week 4: 28 and finale part 1 (60 minute ep)??? Week 5: finale episode (90 minute ep)???

Actually in this same episode, I think Jean or Armin word for word said the implications out loud when they were all in jail. Someone said, "To make Eldians not have children" or something. The term may have been misleading but they expanded on it with Yelena

I mean idek if the one you mentioned is even considered spoiler, bc that's when the first time watchers have no idea what's about to come and it was just a tease that hint nothing about what's coming. It's funny, really. People tell reactors to skip intros, then wonder why the reactors don't like the intro as much as they did. The song/intro is there to build hype. Of course, the reactor won't like it as much as you because they waited until the arc was basically over to watch it. lol Also, as many have said already, the only way to know if something happens in the intro is if you've seen it already. I'm still waiting for the flying whale and dinosaur from the other intro to show up. /sarcasm In general, anime intros are safe to watch as long as you don't sit there and try to analyze them frame by frame. Just enjoy the song and the visuals.

Endgame has begun. Best intro ahead and you will be pleasantly surprised by it, so don't you dare skip it. Also after finishing show watch all intros and outros with translation. You will see crazy foreshadowing. Zeke's plan is selfish and driven by his and Xavier's trauma. I agree that titans are the problem, but punishing whole nation for what they can become (and not by free will) is a little bit psychotic. BUT if I lived in AoT's world (without knowledge of both sides), I would agree to Zeke's plan. I couldn't live knowing that someone around me could become a titan and eat me alive. Thinking about it would drive me crazy and paranoid. About Zeke in titan's belly. You can see quick scene of a girl right before it happens. I think it is first introduction of her. And last thing, you could see white membrane on Eren's titan eyes. I think it was supposed to show that Eren has warhammer.

Re: Oak on Yelena capping the guy. Yelena is NOT normal. She's been portrayed to be fanatic, erratic, and downright psychopathic. Her shooting him without warning was 100% in-character. Also Diamond Dave being fully on the euthanization plan is interesting to say the least (I do too...to some extent knowing what I know) but I don't think they're registering how f*cked up euthanization actually is...Zeke does NOT have the right to decide that for his people...AoT is really the GOAT at segmenting it's viewers because you can just tell Mason Quinn was not feeling the plan at all.

I love this episode for various reasons, but one of the biggest is because I think it's super fun how it just throws everything on its head. Pieck shows up and her performance and story is so convincing that you think she's actually switched sides. And it resonates well with viewers because the previous episode has kind of shaken up our perceptions of Zeke and informed us as to why he does what he does, generating some sympathy for him. By this point in the show, it feels like you don't know who's on which side and what their motives were and it leaves you feeling like you're on unstable ground. I love it.

In order to not be spoiled by the visuals or music you need to be both deaf and blind. The end credits scene in season 3 is definitely far more subtle but still a useless scene to watch. This intro blatantly shows you important shit that’s going to happen

I just clocked how Pieck told Yelena she had liked her "beard" but in a previous episode she tells people she didn't think the beard suited her. Also, I never fully paid attention to Galliard in the crowd of sodiers when they're walking Gabi and Pieck to the roof!

I’m going to just add another comment to the mix just to say how annoying it is to read people saying to skip intros to anime. It’s infuriating. The people working on shows know what they’re doing and if you watch something for the first time you don’t pick up anything that you don’t know! Only way to realize if something in the intros is revealing is after you've seen what happens and then you recognize the clues that were hidden there. Stop interfering with how people normally would watch things!
