Steven Warner

First watch here 🤙🏻

Steven Warner

Yes Oak we love Bad Ape 😂😂😂

Steven Warner

I heard Oak there, almost called Proximus James Earl Jones, he prob didn’t know about his death at the time of recording 😔

Steven Warner

I feel like Oak could do a good Kratos

Dee

I agree with Mason. I didn't care anything about the characters, the story was meh & slow. The " villain" didn't feel that intense. Pretty disappointing & probably not something I'll watch again.

Monica

So excited for this one! I just re-watched the first three reactions, perfect timing 🤩

You guys should check out Practical Magic (1998) for October!

Bedinor

Yall sure do yap a lot causing you to miss stuff, but yes it was around 300 years after the last movie, not entirely sure all that equipment would actually still work even with backup generators, even sealed off, decay happens.

Honestly I wasn't a fan of this one. It was basically just a worse version of all the other movies smashed together to 2 hours. I think the sequel will be better though. I really liked the casting for the new main 'human.' I still miss James Franco though 😭

shaneth138

The funniest part of this is that you said that you hope they don't make any more of these, yet they are planning on making this a NINE movie saga lmao.

Everyone is entitled to their own opinions of course, but I think this is the first time I've felt disappointed with one of your reactions :( I really liked this movie, and being a hardcore fan of the Caesar trilogy I think that rather than seeing this as a fourth installment, it should be seen as the first of a new trilogy. It is unfair to compare it to the original trilogy because the audience follows Caesar from birth to his death and in this case, we are just getting to know these characters, who are already teenagers/young adults who haven't had to struggle to "find" their place in this world, because this is already a world dominated by apes. I also think that if the movie feels a little slow sometimes, at least the way I see it is that we are seeing it through Noa's eyes and we are slowly discovering things about the human world so for them to throw a lot of exposition in a short time would've been very abrupt in my opinion; usually the first movies in trilogies/series are the slowest. At least I'm excited to see more of Noa's journey.

I'm ngl I didn't watch this reaction, mostly cause I did not enjoy the movie itself. But I want to support what seems to be their opinion from your comment. As a huge fan of the POTA series, visually it was awesome, but the story just felt so absent and lacklustre. It felt long and unsatisfying with low stakes and largely flat characters. So much potential though...

I'm Batman

Not a bad movie, but for me, this was the weakest one so far. However I'm optimistic about the next one to be better. Enjoyed y'all's reaction, best part for me was when you guys made that Batman Forever reference lol.

shaneth138

Haha yes that's what they said. I don't know if they are including the Caesar trilogy in that number or if they are planning on doing 9 more but either way, that's a lot haha.

Jeremy Champlin

This was set in the ruins of Los Angeles. Raka was in LAX and that was Griffith Observatory.

Alexiani Gollarza

I think they want to restart these movies again and I agree with you, it should have been a shorter movie. Also, the potential at the end for future movies is there, I hope they are smart about it, also number 2; one of the things this movie lacks is a real goal? maybe set a goal from the beginning and we could have followed by caring for that goal idk I'm just rambling. Also number 3, love the "nothing is over" moment xD I said it with you Oak aaaand I was thinking 100 years for a generation, like Mason said, but yeah what Oak said makes sense. I waited to see this movie with you guys because I knew I wasn't going to like it so thanks for making it better!

Darren Armstrong

I enjoyed the movie but I certainly appreciate and respect your opinions, made valid points and I suppose it would be bottom of the pile of them all, but I have hope for the next few films! Much love guys.
