To answer Oak. Eren escaped after the premier was taken off the board. While they were talking about the aftermath they noticed the scout recruits abandoned their posts and Eren escaped he used the warhammers hardening most likely to have escaped the cells. Thus him having the eye lines.

The bomb that blew up the premier was a separate incident. The marks under Eren's eyes implies that he transformed and escaped from his cell off screen. Also, you're suppose to be confused about Zeke's and Eren's intentions at this point in the story. Edit: Now that I think about, this episode reminds me of Game of Thrones. One thing Game of Thrones did well was having several characters with their own plot lines in the same area converging towards one point.

The "interrogation" chair in the premier's office was the same chair he used when he was "interrogating" the head of conspirators who were propping up the fake King in the first half of Season 3. That's why Armin and Mikasa had a tense, and surprised, look on their faces when they saw it in his office. Especially since he walked over to it when they were all discussing the issue with Eren and whether or not they'd be given a shot to talk to him. P.S. I agree with The Answer. Mikasa is team Eren. Why? Because Eren is her only connection to a sense of family, home and belonging. Never mind how he instilled into her the will to not only live but to fight when they first meet.

I’m soo stoked you guys are genuinely enjoyed the hell out of this show. I love seeing the confusion and the conflicting opinions on everyone here, it’s like round table discussions (which I highly love). At this point, everything is going full speed ahead, we’re seeing factions being made/falling apart, we’re seeing different perspectives and points of view all the while everyone has validity to feel the way they feel because WE can understand where everyone is coming from. All the while everyone on Paradi is going about their actions with the intention to save their homeland. Mason is on the nose with his statement, how can we possibly go about any plan and at the same time, ensure that there will be the least amount of casualties and destruction. Like I have stated in previous comments, this show is an onion/Rubik’s cube. With each layer peeled away, another problem/inquiry arises. With each problem solved, there’s another set of blocks to maneuver around. You guys are amazing, please stay healthy and hydrated and wishing everyone here a wonderful week💛

All I can say is, by this point when i was watching for the first time, I was against Eren and the Jaegerists. I think by now is when the fandom started to divide and later on it gets VERY divisive, lots of arguments happening. I love it when a show can do that

Careful on the "least lives lost" ideology. Just imagine any war with China (highest population), would Mason just root for China every time? It isn't clean cut numerical like that. I think numbers don't mean a thing when it comes to something complex like war. Everyone is right and wrong at the same time, depending on your perspective.

Actually it’s not shown in the anime but eren uses his war hammer titan abilities to escape jail. For some reason the anime cut it out because in the manga it shows the hole in the jail cell wall eren left

the mark on Eren eyes is because he used the war hammer titan power to escape i think he used the timing of the explosion on premiers room and the confusion to escape in the manga they show the hole in the prison that Eren made but they cut it from the anime
