this is always a go to when in the mood for just good solid comedy. It reminds me a lot of the movie Severance (not to be confused with the tv series) which has a similar tone and sense of humour. though i weirdly remember it getting super serious at one point... Im glad you all enjoyed this one so much!

Not gonna lie, based on the reactions over the first 20 or so minutes, I would not have expected Oak to love this one so much more than Mason and Dave, since he had a pretty stone-faced expression. (I knew he'd probably give it a 5 about halfway in, though, because he started making it clear he was absolutely loving the film.)

A remake of this film was recently done in Korea and did really well. I had just streamed it last week so I was intrigued to watch the original. Great timing that you watched this bc now I get to watch with you!

I could be wrong but when dale throws the axe it reminded me of a scene from My Bloody Valentine 3D. I can't remember what weapon the killer threw since I haven't watched it since it was released and I'm probably wrong in thinking that's where this scene came from.

Really would love to see y'all react to The Brothers Grimm, such a gem that one is. Stars Matt Damon and Heath Ledger. Kinda a light take from the Brothers Grimm book but it does have some pretty dark segments throughout the film as well. Really believe y'all would enjoy it.
