Is it just us, or did the marketing fall short on this one? Gran Turismo turned out to be a delightful surprise, evoking fond memories of PlayStation days spent racing for hours. Who else spent countless hours playing Gran Turismo?

The film, inspired by a true story, follows a gamer who overcomes life's twists, turns, and his father's disapproval to chase his dream of becoming a top-tier race car driver. Central to this inspiring journey is the steadfast mentorship of Jack Salter, portrayed with remarkable conviction by David Harbour.

The cars featured are an auto enthusiast's dream, and the clever incorporation of game nostalgia into the film is brilliantly executed. The fact that it's based on true events adds an extra layer of intrigue. While it may not be a perfect film, it’s undeniably entertaining.

We definitely recommend checking out this film if you haven't seen it yet.
