As for the other person that Bertholdt swallowed, it's just a random scout, no name And the reason as to why he was swallowed along with Ymir has to do with next episode, pay attention to Bertholdt's... "attire" I guess is the right word without spoiling ^^

THIS EPISODE! I WAS WAITING FOR THIS EPISODE!! For you guys to watch fighting and name all the submission and grappling moves!! (cause I personally do not know them, hehe) This is my favourite episode out of the entire season 2, I'm happy that your reactions didn't disappoint! The "to be continued" reaction WAS PURE GOLD.

Regarding the 2nd person that Bertholdt ate along with Ymir, if im not mistaken I think it was just a random redshirt. The reason Bertholdt ate him was to get his ODM gear. I think it was implied when they showed Bertholdt with ODM gear next episode.

I started watching aot in 2021 & I remember binging basically all the episodes and I think it was exactly this episode where I thought "I can squeeze one more in before work" ...big mistake 😂 And even if not every episode ends with a mid-fight cliffhanger, the story just keeps getting better and better that you need to know what happens next. And I feel like it just gets worse with every episode haha.

Non-spoiler OVA info for Badd Medicine: After all the arguing over the OVA’s after Season 1, I just wanted to give you guys pure non-spoiler info on the 2 OVA’s released and meant to be watched after Season 2 so you can make informed decisions yourselves on whether you want to watch them. OVA’s between S2 and S3: - OVA 6: Lost Girls: Wall Sina, Goodbye Part 1 - OVA 7: Lost Girls: Wall Sina, Goodbye Part 2 This is a 2-parter OVA focusing purely on Annie, just like the Levi OVA’s. In these 2 episodes you get a much deeper look into Annie’s personal thoughts, feelings, and relation with her father as you follow her around on the day before the Female Titan arc happens in Season 1. This serves as a much more in-depth character analysis of Annie than the main show provides. It is technically optional because there is nothing huge related to the main plot line in these. However, I personally really enjoy the episodes, and find getting a look inside Annie’s mind fascinating. I hope this helps! I know I’d love to see you guys react to them, and I think y’all would appreciate getting some answers on Annie, but I know you have to balance the fact that it would push Season 3 back a week, making the more casual or impatient AoT fans angry, so you’ve got to balance that as well and decide what’s best. (I may post this again next week just for visibility / a reminder)

yep it was a flashback. that scene was shown in season 1 when eren was afraid of failing the grapple test and he and armin went on a walk with reiner and bertholdt and reiner encouraged him

I was sick a couple of days at some time and watched for 3 days straight, 12 episodes a day. So jeah... That's my longest row... I just love AOT.

I loved your reaction to this episode, knew you'd like the fight! I just about lost it when I was watching for the first time and Eren tore the friggin' Amoured Titan's arm off! 😱😂 Just a couple of clarifications: 1. When Connie was asking where Reiner and Bertholdt were and requesting the other soldiers to help them because they don't have ODM gear, it's because he had no idea that they were Titans. He had been with them at Utgard Castle while Eren and co. had been learning that Reiner and Bertholdt were from the same area as Annie and therefore could possibly be Titans too, so he was not aware of the suspicions on them. And when they did reveal their identity atop the wall, Connie had already walked off too far to hear them. Next thing he knew, the Colossal and Armoured Titans had just popped up out of nowhere, and he was worried for his gearless friends, completely unaware that it was THEM who had just transformed into the Titans. 2. The other soldier who was taken by the Colossal Titan along with Ymir was not identified. The reason why he was taken will become apparent in the next few episodes. And now the painful week-long wait for the next reactions begins! 😂

Loved how they included strategy and grappling techniques, I knew you guys would love it, also loved the animation this ep and I’m glad you guys picked up on it! Hope you guys keep on the anime route. An anime I recommend is mob psycho 100, you guys would love the fitness club 😂😂

Fun Fact: Reiner is modeled after Brock Lesnar, while Eren's titan is modeled after Yushin "Thunder" Okami. Definitely lots of MMA influence on this show!

Also to answer your question on who won the Annie vs Mikasa fight, it was confirmed that it never even started cause the head instructor stopped it from happening. But if the fight did go on, I believe Mikasa won, not even because of personal biases

I wasn't as hard-core as you, lol, but I definitely binge-watched Season 1 in a crazy 12-hour session. One afternoon, I decided to check out the show my friend had started podcasting; next thing I knew, it was 3am the following day and I was too wired to sleep after the S1 finale. Part of the reason I love watching reactions is seeing other people stop, process, discuss, and catch all the stuff I missed.

Just as Ilse’s Notebook was released before S2 to provide a small clue for it, this OVA was released and meant to be watched before S3 to provide a small clue. Watching it between S3 and S4 is just very awkward, and doesn’t fit the tone / world building of the story anymore. Edit: plus they’ve already theorized and basically understand the tiny spoiler/clue if you watch their earlier reactions. Definitely wouldn’t be any crazy revelation for them

Answering the "how many episodes in a row have you watched in a row?" question: I didn't exactly count, but I watched the first 78 episodes in 4 days, only stopping when I caught up and had to wait. Nothing close to his ever happened to me before lol

to answer quinn’s question - my first time watching this show, only seasons 1-3 were out and i ended up binging 59 episodes in one day 😭 i was clearly unprepared for the story of aot to hook me like that but it’s been my number 1 favourite show ever since. the journey is amazing (and the cliff hangers do not get any easier LMAO)

Mathematically it is only possible to watch 3 episodes an hour. That is approx 30 episodes in 10 hours and 60 episodes in 20 hours. You’re telling me you watched basically all of s 1-3 in 20 hours? I don’t believe that for a second

It’s just so they have another set of ODM gear you see Reiner and Bert have odm gear in next episode, they get them from Eren and that other irrelevant character. I just watched both Lost Girls parts, and I genuinely didn’t see any spoilers for S3. I honestly thought there weren’t until I read your comment. So if there are spoilers, they are probably very minor. They do have the option of watching the OVAs some later time, but by that time they would become redundant. There is also the fact that S3 has even episodes, so if they plan to watch Isle’s Notebook between S2 and S3, they can accompany it with these two OVAs rather than just having it alone.
