LINK: The Iron Giant FULL REACTION

"You are who you choose to be!" What a line. What an enjoyable film experience! The animation in this movie evoked a strong sense of nostalgia, while also offering some poignant emotional depth. Beneath its sci-fi exterior, it harbors a heartfelt narrative about the importance of friendship and the potential for redemption.

The film follows the story of Hogarth Hughes, a young boy living in a small town in Maine. Hogarth's life takes an unexpected turn when he discovers a giant robot from outer space that has crash-landed near his home. As Hogarth befriends the gentle giant and teaches him about humanity, they embark on a journey of self-discovery, facing challenges and prejudices along the way.

The voice cast delivers great performances, with Eli Marienthal as Hogarth, and Vin Diesel going deep in this role for the Giant (haha sorry, extra cheese on that) Jennifer Aniston and Harry Connick Jr. also shine in their respective roles, adding depth and humanity to the supporting characters. And let's not forget Christopher McDonald, whose comedic brilliance adds a delightful touch to the film.

This was one of my all-time favorites growing up! Thank you guys so much for doing this movie, the nostalgia and memories came flooding immediately. It was as if I were a kid again watching this with my dad on a Saturday morning <3 Keep up the great content!!

I LOVE this movie to bits like its been there since my childhood and its like the one movie me and my brothers and sisters would just throw in bc we were never bored watching it, one of the most charming and fun movies to revisit. I cry whenever he does the superman pose bc it just feels so innocent but tragic

Unholy Tater

This will be a really fun watch later I'm sure. Haven't seen this film in years.

Sad fact: Brad Bird decided to make this film with the question: “What if there was a gun that didn’t want to be a gun?” There’s emphasis on this because he lost his sister to an act of gun violence.

Angel

omg now that I remember Brad bird directed this you haveeeee to watch "The Incredibles" omgggg

Chris Atkinson

Dunno where this thought came from, but I'd pay good money to watch you guys react to Ed Edd n Eddy 🤣 A favorite classic cartoon haha! Anyways, I can't wait to be home from work to watch this with y'all! Thanks for the killer content!

Graham F

Yeah I grew up watching this movie a lot. It really is a classic for so many. Glad you guys enjoyed it.

I grew up on The Iron Giant, and I think Oak was spot on with describing it as wholesome. I would say a more recent movie that totally dropped the ball with it's marketing was Pixar's Elemental. The animation is stunning, and the story is great. I would definitely recommend it for the channel.

Elizabeth Green

Oh yall should add Sing and Sing 2 to your animation list! Honestly I also think yall should watch the brave little toaster 😆 I freaking loved those movies as a kid. I loved this movie as a kid and I still love it today! Like Oak said it really is just a wholesome movie 🥰.

My sister and I fought over the tv a lot when we were little and this was one of the few movies that made us be at peace with each other<3 amazing movie and amazing reaction. Loved how invested you al were while watching, I mean, your faces of "I am into this movie" specially Diamond dave's, loved it. I grew up watching this movie but like you all guys said, we have a lot of movies now and this one kind of fell back into the list so thanks for watching it and bringing it back<3

Lauren

I was kind of hoping that y’all would get choked up at the end! I cry every time! The Giant’s last line “Superman” always gets me.

Johnny Blue

I still can't watch this movie without breaking down and crying in the finale. Such a wonderful, wholesome movie for a kid in the 90s to grow up with. ❤

Johnny Blue

I hope one day you guys would react to the Paddington movies. It's made by the same team as Wonka (2023) and gives off the same warm hug feelings in movie form.

Angelina

Def a fav growing up & so glad y’all enjoyed!! So much fun to watch now as an adult haha

You guys should check out X-Men 97 👀

Amber Wilmot

I choke up about him repeating the words that Hogarth told him and “No Following”. And then Hogarth saying “I love you”. That’s what gets me.❤️☺️

Megan
