Link: The Raid 2 FULL REACTION

We are still coming down from this action ride. This film takes it to another level from the first one. Right from the start it sets a a brutal and intense tone, with impeccably choreographed fight scenes and jaw-dropping action sequences. The film doesn't hold back, delivering combat that showcases the incredible martial arts talent of the cast.

It does dive deeper into the criminal underworld. Rama must navigate treacherous territory filled with complex characters, including gang leaders and corrupt officials, all while trying to protect his identity. Shoutout to the cinematography as it has just a nice grit about the film and shout out to everyone involved. Well done. Highly recommend this film.

Yesterday I was looking at various streaming services and even less than legal places but I couldn't find it in the original language. Was trying to get a copy ready for when you guys posted the reaction. Very strange. Seems it just isn't available online. Have to buy the DVD or Blu-ray to get it.

LETS GOO! This film will be another crazy fun ride.

I have a slight issue with the run time and storyline of this one, but the fighting scenes are just so incredible! You're right Quinn, we don't see unique villains in action movies that often. Thank you for the review and thoughts!

Another movie with an iconic fight sequence is "The Man from Nowhere," a 2009 Korean film with Won Bin. It was the first Korean movie I ever saw and it immediately hooked me on Korean entertainment. Definitely recommend it!

The only reason the director didn’t make Raid 3 is because he didn’t think he could top this which is highly commendable imo. If you’re looking for more movies like this, “The night comes for us” and “Headshot” have the same actors/choreography and are just as good if you’re interested!

YES PLEASE!! such an incredible movie! one of the movies that the inspired John Wick!!

Megan

Yes! I think that is also why JW is one of my favorites as well!

You guys should also check out 'The Night comes for us'......it also has some pretty crazy action sequences. Otherwise great reaction

Eric Wallace

Fantastic reaction gentlemen. I have been looking for the same high as the kitchen scene for years. In regards to how gruesome the violence is, i like that its that graphic. It takes the romanticism out of it and shows the actual consequences of using violence

Eric Wallace

Also, Ong Bak with Tony Ja. Incredible action

Harry

Gotta check out I Saw The Devil. That would be a great group reaction

Oak, they did get a bit of recognition from Hollywood. You guys probably didn't recognize them at the time, but Cecep Arif Rahman (The "final boss" of the 2nd movie) and Yayan Ruhian (The final boss of the 1st movie) are in John Wick 3. John Wick fights them both at the same time in the room with all the glass.

Seconded, such a brutal and raw depiction of revenge.
