I remember asking about the background and many said that it is not very important to you, but how do you feel about such minimalistic backgrounds? Of course, they will not be used in every new pic.

I always love a good background to go with these awesome futa women

Lord Vengeance

backgrounds are not that important but can make a pic come to life.

Jack Souls

I love backgrounds, always makes an artwork more complete and fulfilling imo

I don't have too much of a preference, but I really liked some of the older sets that had backgrounds set in a city.

Minimalistic is a good background, guess it depends what you are trying to focus on. For example character is wearing something that would best fit in a nightclub, or you want dim and warm lighting for a bedroom background.

The background in this is nice, the white lighting and edge lighting on the Sorceress contrast hair and skin beautifully.

I personally prefer some sort of environment or background, doesn't have to be something super detailed and time consuming. Something simple is perfect. The background helps set the mood or vibe, leaves less to the imagination I guess lol

Maddie

I vibe more with minimalism, especially grey scale

MC

I prefer this type with simple background and lighting. The pose and sometimes clothing are more important

Keep it minimalist

AdiposeRex

Minimalist backgrounds are fine now and then.

Calista

minimalistic is great. Only exception is if it's an 'in public' set with other people around. Even then the background doesn't need to be elaborate.

The Sorceress is lovely! I don't mind minimalism for solo pinups, at least. It really emphasizes that the focus should be on the person.

Backgrounds can add a ton of context to an image and I think that makes them interesting, and while I wouldn't really ever call them a "distraction" by any means, I do agree with the post above that it allows more direct and clear focus on the character. I would not say I mind a minimalist backdrop, but I still find overall it has a lot less flavour comparatively and if used too often it is undoubtedly going to make things feel far too "same-y"

I think a good background can add lots of content to a picure. And if it's really bland or uninspired it can make a picture less interesting to me. Personally I like outdoors and luxurious rooms.

I’d say backgrounds do matter, one of my favorite sets is the one with Jill outside with the Red coat but also the background doesn’t matter too much it’s the pose and models

While I think minimalist backgrounds are nice from time to time, I do think they should be used sparingly because they can add a bit of extra flavor to an image.

Just being able to see another Sorceress is amazing!! In terms of background, I agree with everybody else. It’s not everything, but it’s not nothing. It really does add meaning to the art.

Minimalistic background is really good. I'm assuming it is easier for you than complex ones, but they also provide for poses that require objects. So I like it

DKS

I really don't mind the minimalist backgrounds at all

That background is completely fine for me, the lady is looking very sexy and that's the most important. Happy to see black stockings.
