Sorry that pics hasn't been released often this week. I got sick and basically lay in bed, just rendering variations so that you would not be completely without content.

-----------------------------------------

I avoided this topic, but I think it doesn't make sense now because most people have heard something about AI anyway, or maybe even used it.

The only thing that worries me about this is the possible loss of work, because patreon is my main job and I want to know how you personally feel about AI? Do you see any point in continuing to support artists now/in the future if AI can already do NSFW at a reasonable level, especially vanilla. Futanari is not very good so far (I think) and it makes me happy in some way, but I understand that AI will learn how to do it sooner or later.

I sometimes force myself to work more than usual or go to bed late so that the pic is completed as soon as possible. I did this even before AI, but now I feel that the more I don't work, the more time is wasted and the chance of patrons leaving increases. Maybe it's just workaholism.

Although I understand that over time your opinion on this may change and the answer will not be relevant. I just want to understand what those who decided to support me think about it.

P.S: I will not use AI in my work. At least there are no plans for this now, because what's the point of you paying me for something that you can generate yourself? Plus it's made by machine and should be free anyway, in my understanding.

In the world of computer, it was always "Garbage in, garbage out" - this means that the computer program is merely an algorithm, and the outputs are always dependent on the inputs. Only with correct inputs from the human operator, the computer can be fully functional and produce excellent results. AI does look like it is "sentient" in its own way, but I think that the AI artwork is still dependent on how the human artist is giving the inputs. AI must be given correct orders with specific fetishes, imaginations and other detailed instructions to really meet the demands from the people. Which are actually making the artist (including you!) worth to be supported through platforms like Patreon. In summary, I don't care how much 'technical efforts' you actually pay on your works. Rather, I support you because your works are excellent. And in the excellency I mentioned, I think the most important part is that your fetishes, imaginations, art style, character choices, posings, storytelling, etc... are satisfying my libido. If using AI can boost the art style and production speed, so be it. If not, no reason to bother.

KWJ

Let me assure you once again: AI cannot replace you really. AI must be fed the correct orders from you (your fetishes, imaginations, etc) and they cannot just generate superior artworks out of nowhere without you.

Concentrate on your health first, Steven. In the long run, you'll be more productive and creative if you take breaks and ensure you're healthy, instead of working so hard that you wreck your body.

AI is soulless garbage and I will never support anyone using it. I'm happy supporting actual artists that put in hard work and make something special and unique instead of some messed up anatomy monstrosity that an AI cooks up for someone calling themselves an "artist".

Ralkarn

Current AI datasets are essentially mass theft. Not only that, but it bypasses the whole point of the human aspect of creativity and creation. Even if such a thing as an ethical AI image generator existed (which I hope it will), there will always need to be at least a very minimal amount of human touch to it to not make it soulless, repetitive and artificial. Right now we're being bombarded with garbage everywhere, and many artists' livelihoods are in serious danger. I will keep supporting you because I like the work you do and the way you do it. I prefer the handcrafted, uniquely stylistic artwork you do (even if it takes longer or is harder to make) than some soulless, copypasted, uninspired and insipid mass theft that is going on. If such a thing as an ethical AI appears in the future and it strictly only benefits you (and the quality of your work doesn't decrease), I don't see much of a problem with it. But as it stands right now, I don't see it producing the work I'd like to see, both in quality, quantity and uniqueness. Please don't overwork yourself, you're already a very hard worker and it shows. Keep doing what you do and I'll support you and please, take good care of your health!

AI is absolutely fantastic. It allows people who cannot afford to hire artists to create works of art for affordable rates. Without AI, only a small section of people are able to create art. AI democratize art, and allows artistic human expression to be within the grasp of basically anyone who can type. The people who complain about this are no different from people who whined that digital photography wasn't real. Only film photographers were REAL photographers. They whined that digital photography was nothing but PHOTOSHOP. People who wish to FINANCIALLY PROFIT from GATEKEEPING art are always offended by anything that makes art easier for the average person to produce.

stevencarson

I don't remember doing any gatekeeping. If you use it, then I did not forbid you to do it. The only thing that worries me is the possibility of losing my job. I've seen arguments like yours many times before and I think it could be called "pro ai" when I'm currently trying to be neutral about it, but it's hard and I'm already biased, because it affect me directly, it's my main job. If I ever start using ai generation like stable diffusion, it will be clearly marked because I do not consider it art.

literally dont care bout AI i think ppl are just diggin their own graves usin it too much i avoid it as much as i can

Rather than get involved with the AI discussion, I have a question about this particular set. I noticed images 3 and 9 are exactly the same. Was one of them meant to be of Ada in the corset only and half erect? That seems to be the one incarnation of the semi-hard images that's missing.

WhutSorcery

This set looks absolutely Amazing Steven! Love the red on Ada and the walking on water effect! Water in your scenes makes it more sensual! I would say that currently AI art is stupid. The fake faces they create is what really brings down the quality of the visuals. These so called perfect faces are not perfect and look too plastic like with ridiculous makeup. While I do see good quality in the body itself within these images, the facial expressions and the face shape is the biggest selling point and the most critical factor.

Shazarad

I dont think you should do AI at all because there is no soul to it and its not perfect Once it does get "perfected" Id rather not know it was AI if it was made by AI

Profundity

Excellent poise and grace in this, this deserves to have many variations, not least of Lightning (extended included) and Lara

Personally, no, I will continue to support you and the other artists, it doesn't change for me.
