I think it would give the picture a different look; the camera is facing the models and the light is hitting them on the same side of the camera, or so it looks. If the model is instead between the camera and source of light, meaning the light source coming from the other side, or behind the model, it might look completely different and be a whole new picture. I probably am not giving the best explanation, and honestly you probably know more than I when it comes to lighting and etc. I just was looking into the subject recently -- about how lighting can change a shot drastically and make something look completely different. At the moment the light is hitting the left side/front of their body, and I'm curious how it might look if instead that the light was coming from the right/hitting more behind the models. This video provides a great example, I hope my perspective isn't just skewed. Regardless, this is an excellent work of art and I don't mean to be unappreciative of it. https://youtu.be/FivHoU8T5zw
