So, even though I'm putting this into one poll, I'd like to break it down into two parts. The title of the story/series/novella and the title of this book/arc. I have many ideas, some coming from you, some inspired elsewhere, some by the old story, others more original - hopefully. I thought long and hard about what might describe the story best, what the essence of the story actually was, and I think we can all agree that it was not the lament of a slave. But to give it credit, that was the original idea that gave birth to this story. With that said, I think the story was mainly about Korra's journey to discover herself, the beast/beasts within her.

Well here's what I came up with.

Lament of a Slave. Even if she leaves the class behind the Lament remains. Also the name has not only the most meaning to me, it is also the most identifiable. Chronicles and the legend sound super generic and if I hear one or the other, I have to ask Chronicles of what, The Legend of what. Lament on the other hand, is Very rare to find in a title. If someone asks me "Are you read up on Lament?" I would think of this story. It also the name to stand out, shortened or otherwise. Also, all the "Bites" names sound like bakeries. Now I need bite sized brownies that are bear shaped.

I feel like both "beast" and "slave" don't really fit as the sole term to describe her. Beast reduces the humanity from which she stems and is related to, and slave is more related to the start of the story (so it'd still fit the first arc/book). Maybe "beastly" or similar could be used in addition to another term to describe someone/something? I personally don't like the titles with "bites", since it feels to me like it further concentrates on the beastly parts, even though there are much more beastly/monstrous protagonists out there. Edit: Maybe deviant could be used? (Beastly deviant or just deviant.) It's both her new class and a good term for her in general, I think.
