Hey everyone,
I'm back from vacation. My wife and I went to Mexico with our best friends who are also a couple and we had an awesome time. We went on a hot air baloon ride over an ancient pyramid, did a Mexican cuisine cooking class, swam through several underground cave rivers, and so much more. Probably one of the best holidays I've had ever, and even though we did a ton of stuff, I was able to completely rest my mind from all the work stress I've had lately. So I'm back fully recharged and ready for the development of V0.6.2 of BMO TV. Well... almost. I do still have a bit of a jetlag, and a cold, but these will probably be gone in a few days.

So... today it's time to let you know what's planned for V0.6.2, which will have the title "The silence of the lamia" and it will come out next month. You may have noticed that I'm not calling this a progress report and that's because over the last few updates this post has turned out to become less and less of a progress report and more of a planned feature overview. It usually comes out about two weeks after the beta release and at that point it's usually just been the end of bugfix releases of the previous version. This time, of course, it's a bit later than that because of my vacation, but it's still the same situation. Development is starting right now. Progress Reports will be limited to the Discord channel as I've always written them in between the public post and the release, but it's just a different name now.

Okay... you know that the pun titles of the patches always have something to do with the patches, so you might already expect what's first on the list.

1. Lamia TF (True End)

The monster girls are running free in the true end sequence of BMO TV. Just like last patch we added the Slime Girl TF, this update the Lamia NPC and TFs are added. They are similar content-wise, so you know what to expect. There will be more locations to reach to get additional demonic spheres to cleanse corruption.

2. Finish Contestant Attacks

While the 0.6.x patch line is mainly about the true ending of the game, it is also about finishing the most unfinished parts of the main gameplay loop. In this case, starting with v0.6.2 the player should be able to attack the contestants to get a 5/5 on all opponents. That excludes Erica of course because she's a dirty cheater. The reason why all of this was never finished of course is that I felt like this part of the game wasn't the reason why people enjoyed it. The game is not mainly about being dominant and taking over the other contestants, but about finding one's submissive side. However, this is also the first thing new players interact with and the first thing people realize is unfinished, so with the player TFs being almost finished in the main gameplay loop, it's time to address this.

3. Sex Minigame Additions

Another part of this rework of the main gameplay loop is the sex minigame remake that was introduced last patch. In this patch, I'll add the game to more sex scenes. I don't know how far I'll get to that because it's a very exhausting progress to rewrite already finished scenes, but we'll see.

4. More Sound FX

While I was on vacation, my new sound designer has continued working, and he has a whole new batch of fx and music ready for you. There will be new sound FX for the Bedroom, the Hallways, the Lobby (Vending machine hallway), the Bathroom, the Pool, the Streaming Studio, and the Gym. In addition to that, there will be new background music for the NPCs that'll play when you're talking to one of them. We're getting these for Himari, Erica and Katelyn. Since this is his list and he's just estimating, these are not guarantees, but we're definitely getting a whole bunch of new stuff.

5. True Ending Additional Rooms

You may have noticed that the back of the house was missing. With this patch the previously unwalkable rooms will be available and you'll also be able to move to a whole new area that wasn't accessible before: the backstage area. There's a door there that was never clickable because scenes in the backstage area were limited to scripted scenes before the end of week show. However, with the producers gone, what's going to stop you from walking through that door?

Welcome to the producer's office spaces. This is where the majority of the game ending puzzles are going to take place. You'll get to read e-mails, open folders and in general learn about what the producers are like. Where will that elevator lead? You'll find out soon. However, the room graphics are the slowest ones to make, so it'll be a few patches before you can fully roam through the whole area.

6. New Story Scene: Abi tries to attack Erica

In the Ally branch, Abigail sometimes refers to a scene where she tried to attack Erica and failed to do so. So it was always planned to add a short story scene about that happening, and I think it's finally time to add that in this patch. After all, I want the v0.6.x patch line to finish the Ally quest.

7. New Story Scene: Himari and Marco

During the Himari Dating sequence a scene has been missing for quite a while, that happens if you're not a partner Himari is sexually interested in, but she likes you enough that she would open up to you. This has been frustrating to a lot of people because it locked up another story branch that a lot of people want to see. So with one of the last patches, I added a placeholder text that just says "Scene missing", but that enabled the branch to continue. So with this patch, this scene is also going to get added.

And that's the planned content for v0.6.2. I'm trying to be a bit more reasonable when it comes to estimating what I can fit into a one month development schedule, but there is a possibility that I'll get stressed on this as well so since v0.6.1 I'm not putting out release dates anymore, but I'll still estimate that this will be ready to release in December and I think that's reasonable.

I hope you look forward to the new TFs and the improvements on the overall gameplay.
I'll be back soon with more updates.

Best,
Rel
