Last year, we announced the first ever Crash Course Coin. Money from the coin proceeds and Patrons like you made up 37% of our budget, allowing us to produce 47 episodes of Crash Course. So whether you decide to purchase a coin or not, we just want to say: THANK YOU for being a part of our Patreon community. You help make Crash Course possible. And we want you to know that the Crash Course Coin is not a replacement for Patreon membership, but rather another opportunity for viewers to support our mission.

This year’s coin design features illustrations reminiscent of the Lascaux cave paintings found in France, estimated to be around 17,000 years old. Just as we learn and pass on knowledge today by observation, experimentation, and communication, so did those prehistoric artists.

You may remember last year we offered a 3-Year-Patron coin for longterm Patreon supporters.
