TMNT returns in a gorgeously-animated reboot that owes more than a little to "ACROSS THE SPIDERVERSE's" genre-rewiring aesthetics and hip-hop edge but brings a wild vibe all its own to the proceedings; marrying blacklight-neon sci-fi grit with the gloppy-goop gross-out playfulness of the nostalgic 90s action figures and main characters who act and feel more like authentic teenagers (which is to say a little of them goes a long way - so smart move loading up the supporting cast with additional mutant co-stars) than they ever have before. A real winner that old-time fans and newcomers should instantly fall for.

It was quite a fun watch! Not my favorite version of them, but a definite solid version with a good feel of the turtles from the old beat-em-up coin eaters.
