After a decade-plus of development hell, dozens of directors, writers, scripts, retoolings, a global Pandemic and a lead-actor's INTERNATIONAL CRIME SPREE; the most interesting thing that can maybe be said about "THE FLASH" is that - after all that - it somehow manages to wriggle out from under its hefty but compelling extra baggage to stand up on its own as… actually just a completely average, unremarkable superhero movie.

So...it would have been fine under normal circumstances but is, with all that went into getting it made, just a massive waste of time. At least, that's what I'm hearing.

I have no plans on seeing the movie. But I'm wondering what's the "non-CGI punchline they chose to end on as a HAHA to decades of toxic internet fandom" is. Bob wants to avoid spoilers and I respect that. So if someone wants to DM me the spoiler, thank you.
