Dimensions Album Track List (Patreon)

Greetings Citizens!
Here is the track list and back cover for the Dimensions CD. You'll recognize most of these songs from the 6 singles we released during the production of the album.  The other 5 songs you may have heard little bits and pieces of, or witnessed some of their creation on the Mr_Computer_ streams, but the final product of those 5 will be totally new.

There are 9 songs with vocals. Miranda sings lead on 4 of them, Tyson sings lead on 4, 1 of them is a joint effort, and then there are 2 instrumental tracks.

Summary of the meanings behind each song:

Energy - caffeine addiction
Spark - smart phone / social media obsession
Static Kiss - hypnotized by cable news

HyperSpaceLounge - an instrumental palate cleanser - the end of Act 1; start of Act 2

Machines Do the Work - what happens when we let technology do all the work
Are You a Consumer - knowing the ills consumerism and still shopping obsessed
Call Me - feeling lonely and needing to talk but the only people calling you are telemarketers

Terminal Void - an instrumental palate cleanser - the end of Act 2; start of Act 3

Bad Vibes - feeling optimistic in spite of sense impending doom in the universe
Social Anxiety - self explanatory but heavily inspired by the lockdown era
New Wave Love Song - hopeful, making connections and finding someone/thing special

It's not exactly a concept album, but the themes all work together to provide a snapshot of life in this rapidly modernized techno world. Ultimately the album ends on a positive note of togetherness, finding true connections, whatever that means to you, with a song that's the closest thing to a ballad we've ever written.
