psa: if you're having trouble accessing the discord... (Patreon)

if you've been having trouble accessing my discord, it's because i have a verification bot in place to act as an extra filter against potential bad eggs. this bot requires accounts to complete a verification process before they have access to the full server.

 some common problems i've seen are:

1. people join and are not aware that their discord accounts are attached to patreon, and are unable to verify within the 40-minute window

2. people have direct messages turned off, so the verification bot can't send them a message

3. people link their discord account after they join my patreon, so the bot doesn't automatically add them in time
