Hey all! Here's the last video of the year. A deep dive into the inner workings of Event[0].

This video started as one of the entries in the 5 innovations of the year video, but I decided that the game is so cool, and the design is so clever, that it needed its own video. I also liked the parrallels with Her Story being the last video of 2015.

One of the things I like to talk about on GMTK is the smart design behind good games. The Spelunky video is another example of this. I think this stuff is A) fascinating B) helps demistify the development process and C) hopefully inspires devs to come up with their own ingenious solutions to design problems.

Anyway. There we go. Taking a proper break now and back in the new year. Hope you had a wonderful Christmas and see you in 2017.
