Hey! Sorry to do another post on this topic and clog up your inbox once more, but I wanted to make sure everyone who offered feedback on the last post saw that I am listening!

So for starters, thanks for your comments. In hindsight I should have just come to you guys first.

While I've had some negative feedback, I'm going to keep the new ones. I personally like them, they really fit the remit of standing out at a small size, and views have already gone up so I think they're working as intended.

I do get your concerns about consistency and professionalism, though, so thanks for sharing them.

To address this: for starters I've redone four of them: Batman's tagline was too click-baity, Beyond the Beef didn't really scream New Vegas, Game Feel was too plain, and Mechanics of Movement was better as it was.

And going forward I'm going to be very careful to make sure the thumbs reflect the tone of the video, and that the text is more descriptive.

Consistency is a little harder to do (though, they haven't been consistent for a while - I dropped the black band effect late last year), but I hope my (mostly) consistent use of the same font and white text will make them feel like a set.

So yeah. Thanks again for making your feelings known!

you can use font sizes as well to give a sense of consistency

Love it. Thank you for taking our feedback into account, Mark :) Keep up the great work.

Looking good! I don't know about clickbaity, but "Too Big?" certainly made me laugh.

Well done on the updates! I'm still curious about the thumbnails in which the only text is the featured game's name rather than the topic. (DOOM, ICO, etc.) What's the idea behind that?

well some of the videos are more about specific games, so if the logo is nice I thought it would look cool to have that instead of the traditional font. the rest of the title is still going to be in the title of the video, right under the thumb
