GMTK Gameclub Returns - Press f To Pay Respects (Patreon)

Hey everyone. Just wanted to pass on a quick message from GMTK Gameclub host Slam. The Gameclub, if you don't know, is a monthly discussion on our Discord where we chat about a particular topic by looking at a handful of different games. All Patrons should automatically have access to the GMTK Discord.

"Hello everyone, Gameclub's back! New month means new theme, to hopefully tide you over while we're social distancing! 

This month's theme will be "Press flash To Pay Respects"! If you played any independent browser game during the 2000's it's not unlikely that it was made in Adobe Flash, a massively popular animation and game creation tool. 

It defined a generation of game and web developers, but in later years the software has deprecated due to a lack of updates and better tools being available. 2020 will be the last year any browser supports Adobe Flash, so let's celebrate the incredible games that began in this retro format! 

We want to see your Flash favorites, whether they are still available in only Flash or updated into new forms.  VVVVVV, Super Meat Boy, Bloons TD and Fancy Pants Adventure are the kind of games that we're looking for this month, so if you have any suggestions of your own head over to #gameclub-suggestions and let us know; none of the games above are set in stone! 

Make sure to include a link with your suggestion; we want to make sure the game still exists (and doesn't lead to malware! These are old games!) The shortlist of games will be up sometime around Friday!"
