Game Maker's Toolkit - Analysing Mario to Master Super Mario Maker

Great video, as always! I like this video in particular because of that "you know, I'm analyzing a lot of games from the design perspective, but now I'll try to build one myself" style and all the research done with previous Mario games in order to succeed in your attempt. And it went very well for your first Super Mario Maker level! Besides, now I'm willing to create some levels in Super Mario Maker following these steps and advices instead of just making some levels without any specific criteria. I'll try to play your levels when I have time to relax and turn on the Wii U!

Nice job! Really enjoying this series that feels long overdue. I can't wait to buy Super Mario Maker myself. Loved the thought you put into your level, but if you're really going for the authentic "could have been a Mario level" vibe, I don't think trolling with unattainable coins feels quite right. If I played it, I would assume there's some nearly suicidal way of grabbing them. Of course, it's your level -- do what you please!
