Weekend Early Access - The World Design of Super Metroid (Patreon)

Surprise! Juuuuuust got the second video of August out in time. Well, for you lucky lot at least! Everyone else gets it Monday.

This was a huge job, as I had to walk step-by-step through the game to cover everything I wanted to say. And I still didn't get to say absolutely everything! But I'm pleased with the analysis and it holds lots of useful lessons for my eventual "Making a Metroidvania" episode of GMTK.

I'm daunted by the next game (teased at the end). Gonna give Boss Keys a little break while I return to GMTK next month, I think - this is going to be another big one!
