So it's finally happened. My 6-7 year old Z68-APD3 and i7 2600k finally decided to croak. Got a bluescreen error yesterday (WHEA UNCONTROLLABLE ERROR) and apparently that means something in my rig has decided to just not work properly anymore. To be fair, I saw this coming. For months I've been getting a similar error but kept pushing it off because I didn't want to reformat my 5+ year old Windows files and have to reinstall everything. Now I'm paying the price. Spent most of the night troubleshooting only to no avail. I am really hoping I'll be able to recover my files from my SSD as that is where stuff for my current project is. AFAIK it's a motherboard issue so I should be able to but I can't help but worry. My lesson learned from this: If you have a strong feeling that something in your system is about to give in: don't be lazy and just back it up and replace whatever part that is.

I'm sad to say this'll mean a delay on the current project until I get a new system and reinstall everything.

I apologize for this and wish you guys a good upcoming April (this isn't an April fool's joke btw).

At first I thought this was canon for your upcoming haydee project. Then I realized it's not :( It sounds like you'll figure it out moa!

Thanks for caring guys. Just finished building the new system and in the process of reinstalling everything now.

Though this is kinda late, I'd just like to state that I believe almost every single one of your patreons would give to a kick starter to build you a brand new rig if ever your current one truly took a noise dive. Maybe I can only speak for my self, none the less I would definitely offer up any help on top of my monthly patronage to see Red be put back on track faster if ever the call arose . Hear is to knowing the pain of having to reformat drives and rebuild rigs. Best wishes and a get well to your rig and it's Drives as well. ;Supplier

Haha, thank you. I really hope it'll never come to that but I appreciate the sentiment. Everything's all good now anyway so there's no need for that.
